The FCS Playoffs have been announced and after being No. 1 all season the Dukes received the three seed for the playoffs. Their first matchup will be against VMI at Bridgeforth Stadium on Saturday. We discuss the field as a whole and any major snubs and how in the world the MVFC got so many teams in!

We also break down the latest MBB transfer and the success of the Olympic Sports.

After a little pause (since there wasn't much to talk about) we are back! We break down the Richmond game and what we expect out of both teams after an extended pause. MBB may be in the offseason but they are making headlines with their transfers so of course, we have to discuss way-too-early expectations. And Olympic sports are BALLING! Kamiah Smalls joins the podcast to talk about her JMU career, and what it has been like playing overseas and in the WNBA. She also breaks down what she has seen out of the WBB squad so far this season.

MBB took down Towson after an amazing performance from Matt Lewis and gear up for Northeastern. WBB went 1-1 against Elon this past weekend and we break down their season so far. Basketball conference play is here and we LOVE it!

We are tired of not having WBB to talk about and watching MBB beat up on non-DI teams. WE WANT CONFERENCE PLAY!! We also discuss Justin Amadi's usage and what MBB needs to do to finally beat a CAA team NOT named UNCW!

JMU MBB earlier this week had arguably the worst loss of the season against Morgan St. and HC Mark Byington said that it was a terrible defensive performance. The Dukes then made up for that L with a convincing win over FAU, so are we back on the bandwagon??

WBB has a new platoon nicknamed the Power Rangers and we LOVE IT! We break down that and the start to conference play for WBB as well.

Another week of "Lightning Round" questions! This week we have an awesome guest, Matt Brown of the Extra Points Newsletter. He recently wrote a piece on JMU's attempt at making a fall football schedule and he gives us closer look at it all.

We are coming at ya for another week of Lightning Round action. We tackle some of the biggest storylines from around the world of college football like is Notre Dame actually good? Is Sam Ehlinger going to be good in the NFL? Which conference has the better defense, the SEC or the Big 12?

Vado Morse, Jalen Hodge, and Joel Mensah all received waivers to receive immediate eligibility which is HUGE for JMU MBB. We break down what a starting 5 could be with those players now entering the fold, and of course breakdown some expectations.

JMU football wants to enter the fall 2020 football season with all of its options open, even if the CAA won’t play league games. Is that the right decision?

Regardless of how the Dukes handle the next few weeks and months play out, will their decisions even matter? Bennett and Jack dive into the immediate future of FCS football and what that means for Curt Cignetti and the Dukes.

After a long hiatus from the podcast due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of sports across the globe, we are back! We felt the need to talk some sports with football hesitantly planned to start back up July 6th as well as the need to talk about everything happening in the world, like the coronavirus pandemic as well as the racial injustice that is all around us, and even on the campus of JMU. 

We hope you enjoy this podcast and we hope to put another one out in about 2 ish weeks! 

JMU has found their new head coach for men's basketball program. Former Georgia Southern head man, Mark Byington, will look to build JMU into a perennial CAA power and we discuss our feelings on the matter.

With COVID-19 halting all collegiate sports for the season, this is the last "regular" episode we will have for this season. We may drop an episode here and there as new JMU sports news breaks but we just want to take the time to say thank you to all of our listeners. We saw amazing growth this season in terms of listeners on the podcast and we are so appreciative of it all! We look forward to diving in again come August with all things football and new ideas and new ways of presenting the content to you guys.

Coach Rowe has been fired. We dive into that news and talk about some replacements and Rowe's impact on the program. 

This week Jack and Bennett dive right into what to expect for MBB at the CAA championship in DC. They also discuss WBB and their chances of winning the CAA/getting an at large bid into the NCAA tournament. Then they head over to the diamond and Bennett has some stuff to get off his chest about softball and Jack is all aboard the baseball hype train. That and a lot more on the JMUSN Podcast! 

Jack and Bennett discuss both basketballs in-depth. From Coach Rowe's seat temperature all the way to if there is any sort of possibility they turn the corner. Also, how good in comparison is Kiki Jefferson's freshman campaign? And women's basketball odds at winning some tournament games.

This week we dive headfirst into both Men's and Women's basketball. From the new arena to how deep and dynamic this women's team is we cover it all.

Everything comes down to this week, Jack trails by a game. Bennett comes in at 21-21 and is pushing to finish the season above .500, and Jack is right behind him at 20-22. It was a great pick 'em this week. 

Next up the playoff bracket challenge! 

After both Bennett and Jack suffered through a rough 1-4 week, they look to rebound with wildly different picks. 

Bennett remains above .500 by one game while Jack is three games under .500. 

Jack and Bennett are comin' at ya with their CAA picks. Bennett has a 15-11 record and has opened up a three-game lead over Jack who sits at 12-14. There are two games that are different this week, and this CAA slate is great. Lots of playoff lives are on the lines this week. 

This week Jack tries to draw closer to Bennett after falling a game back after a rough last week. Bennett is 12-9 this season and Jack is 10-11. Going to be fun to listen/watch down the stretch!

We took our CAA pick 'em segment and made it a little bonus clip!  We take a look at this week's slate of CAA matchups. Bennett has a surprisingly commanding two-game lead over Jack and both have very similar picks for this week. 

After an offseason full of huge ideas and planning what is the first thing that happens? Anchor doesn't work so we apologize for the lackluster audio but we promise the points made are A+. 

Jack and Bennett bring on Chase Kiddy from Hero Sports and West Virginia Sports Now to discuss the JMU-WVU matchup since he is the world's leading expert on the topic. We save the discussion on all other fall sports until next week so we can fully dig in to this JMU football season.

JMU Softball's Snub

Not to get hopes up, but this is a special episode. 

Jack and Bennett welcome a very special guest, Matt Weyrich (@MattWeyrich), who was The Breeze's Editor-in-Chief the last two years as well as the co-host on the podcast Reasonably Outrageous and top it off served as a color commentator this last season for a majority of games at Veterans Memorial Park. 

The three of them discuss what the postseason has in store for the JMU Softball Dukes. Will it be a first round exit? Will they make it to the Supers and have a date with UCLA? Does the team have a historic run up their sleeve? A lot is discussed in this hour of all JMU softball. You don't want to miss it! Oh! and Matt talks about if Kate Gordon forgot her toothbrush that can make the team play even better. 

This week we discuss the postseason for all major JMU sports. 

Spoiler alert we don't even talk CAA tournament with softball, just NCAA. We have a little more NFL Draft talk, AND some UDFA signing talk with Marcus Marshall heading to the chiefs.

We had the NPF Draft earlier this week and JMU's Megan Good was taken with the 10th pick in the second round and went to the USSSA Pride, and in on April 25 Jimmy Moreland will be awaiting to hear his name in the NFL Draft. We talk about it all with the two of the future pro Dukes and what we are excited to see in their next step. We also talk the confusing baseball team, and the always consistent Lacrosse team. 

What is the best JMU Sports Moment?

Jack and Bennett bring over the twitter debate to the podcast. Did the polls get it right? Did we have a case of recency bias? We talk a lot about it all. The guys also discuss which is better a deep WNIT run or an NCAA tournament berth? They also take a look at how JMU has gotten to this point and what it will take to take home a championship.
