We talk everything from JMU's early-season success to what to expect this week and in CAA play. Then we get into some of the controversies behind Smith's poll and his reasoning for certain placements.
Then Jack and Bennett jump into the Olympic sports: Has MSOC made the guys eat their words? Men's golf obliterating their competition, VB and the start of conference play. So much covered this week.
The lineup:
(I didn't get exact timecodes this week, my bad)
We start with football then go into MSOC and WSOC then Field Hockey to VB to Golf to the GRAND FINALE Finish.
((you really don't want to miss the end of this one))

JMUSN Podcast-- The one all about Olympic sports
PART II FOR THIS WEEK
We had so much great conversation in part I about men's soccer and football, that we decided to make that a podcast by itself and then release the rest of the sports as their own separate podcast (because we thought releasing a two-hour long podcast would be a bit much). So here we are!
In this episode we talk about the solid start to the season by Men's golf, and what to expect out of volleyball once conference play starts up in about two weeks. We also talk about women's soccer and if this is the same scenario as last season when they seemed to just hit a switch and get going. And field hockey, will they turn it around?

JMUSN Podcast-- Did you hear?? JMU beat No. 1 Wake Forest in MSOC!
JMU beat No. 1 Wake Forest in MSOC!
We bring on one of the Breeze's sports editors, Noah Ziegler, to talk all about this huge event. He covered the game for the Breeze and loves soccer. He dissects the Xs and Os of the game and gives us an inside look at what the energy was like at Sentara Park. After some MSOC talk, we transition to football. We talk all about DiNucci and some more hot takes (what is new), as well as some more running back talk, this time with a new name in the mix, and a notable name we haven't talked about is finally brought up.
This week, since we had so much content with Noah and amazing insights we will release a part II covering the rest of the fall sports with Bennett and Jack, so be sure to head on over and give that a listen after you take in this amazing episode.

JMUSN Podcast-- Morgan State preview
BIG NEWS!! Bennett has a major life update that he shares at the beginning of the episode! We recorded later than normal and we both were a little out of it, but it is still some top quality JMU Sports content.
We start with talking the olympic sports, from Men's soccer to Golf we touch on it all. We will dive deeper into coverage of these sports once conference play get going and the fights for conference titles become more clear.
Then we dive into the debate of Running Back by committee, does it work? We go into what we expect for the Morgan State (we both think it'll be a blowout) and just how quick the starters will be pulled.
We finish with addressing a twitter debate we saw this week. Do fans deserve a vote in the FCS Stats poll??

JMUSN Pod-- We are back baby!
After an offseason full of huge ideas and planning what is the first thing that happens? Anchor doesn't work so we apologize for the lackluster audio but we promise the points made are A+.
Jack and Bennett bring on Chase Kiddy from Hero Sports and West Virginia Sports Now to discuss the JMU-WVU matchup since he is the world's leading expert on the topic. We save the discussion on all other fall sports until next week so we can fully dig in to this JMU football season.
Enjoy!

JMUSN Pop-up POD-- JMU Softball is in the Super Regional!
JMU Softball is in the Super Regional!
We know, old news. But the Super Regional kicks off Friday and is slated to bring us some great pitching matchups and some exciting games. So Bennett and a very special guest Matt Weyrich jump on the pod to discuss expectations for this round of games. As Bennett says, the WCWS needs Megan Good, Megan Good needs the WCWS, therefore it will happen. (No Jack this episode since he was in the middle of driving up to New Jersey to start apartment hunting in and around the NYC area!)

JMUSN POD-- Softball has taken over baseball and we are here for it
Softball has taken over baseball and we are here for it
This week Bennett and Jack welcome in another special guest to the podcast, JMUSN Baseball contributor Nick Stevens. The three of them talk all about JMU softball's amazing three game stretch in the Ann Arbor Regional to punch their ticket to LA and the Super Regional, and they also take a head first dive into the CAA baseball tournament now that JMU finally made it in. Can JMU go on a cinderella run? Who will have a breakout tournament? What does it mean to play at VMP? So much to talk about, so little time.
We talk Softball from the beginning to about the 24 minute mark and baseball is from there until the end!

JMUSN Pod-- JMU Softball's Snub
JMU Softball's Snub
Not to get hopes up, but this is a special episode.
Jack and Bennett welcome a very special guest, Matt Weyrich (@MattWeyrich), who was The Breeze's Editor-in-Chief the last two years as well as the co-host on the podcast Reasonably Outrageous and top it off served as a color commentator this last season for a majority of games at Veterans Memorial Park.
The three of them discuss what the postseason has in store for the JMU Softball Dukes. Will it be a first round exit? Will they make it to the Supers and have a date with UCLA? Does the team have a historic run up their sleeve? A lot is discussed in this hour of all JMU softball. You don't want to miss it! Oh! and Matt talks about if Kate Gordon forgot her toothbrush that can make the team play even better.

JMUSN POD-- The first one in May and the first one where both of us are #JMUGrads
This week we discuss the postseason for all major JMU sports.
Spoiler alert we don't even talk CAA tournament with softball, just NCAA. We have a little more NFL Draft talk, AND some UDFA signing talk with Marcus Marshall heading to the chiefs.
Want to listen to a specific sport? Head to these times...
Lax: 16:30 Softball: 22:00 Baseball: 29:00 Misc chatter: 38:00 ish-end
JMUSN Pod-- Draft Frenzy!
This week we talk drafts!
Bennett and Jack talk a little bit of everything as usual. We had the NPF Draft earlier this week and JMU's Megan Good was taken with the 10th pick in the second round and went to the USSSA Pride, and in on April 25 Jimmy Moreland will be awaiting to hear his name in the NFL Draft. We talk about it all with the two of the future pro Dukes and what we are excited to see in their next step. We also talk the confusing baseball team, and the always consistent Lacrosse team.

JMUSN POD-- What is the best JMU Sports Moment?
What is the best JMU Sports Moment?
Jack and Bennett bring over the twitter debate to the podcast. Did the polls get it right? Did we have a case of recency bias? We talk a lot about it all. The guys also discuss which is better a deep WNIT run or an NCAA tournament berth? They also take a look at how JMU has gotten to this point and what it will take to take home a championship.
Also on this episode, Lacrosse dominates another non top-10 team, baseball struggles and if they are a contender or pretender, some softball talk and of course our #BoringSportsMatter portion.

JMUSN Pod-- Baseball did what?!
Baseball did what?!
This week Jack and Bennett are coming in with some hot takes! March Madness is here and their brackets are ready (Jack starts things off with a not-out-of-character bold statement). Women's basketball just misses out on an at-large bid and the guys give you their thoughts on if that is warranted. Also, is JMU too good for the CAA?
That and more on this week's pod!

JMUSN POD-- Free Agency Frenzy and CAA Mascot craziness
Free Agency Frenzy and CAA Mascot craziness
This week Jack and Bennett get down and dirty on CAA mascot talk, the oldest ones the weirdest ones, the most questionable. (Fun fact the CAA has two things no one else in the country has, a spider and a couple). They also talk WBB-- what to expect this CAA tournament and the biggest snub in CAA postseason award history (too dramatic?).That and just a sprinkle more on this week's pod!

JMUSN POP-UP POD-- What can we expect out of Men's Basketball?
JMUSN POP-UP POD-- What can we expect out of Men's Basketball?
The CAA men's basketball tournament is right around the corner and JMU men's basketball is in (because everyone gets in). Bennett and Jack look at what it will take for the team to make some sort of run. Also we take a look at Rowe's seat, will he stay, will he go? Does anyone know?

JMUSN Pod-- JMU beat Hofstra?! That and more for the crossover pod
Really, JMU beat Hofstra, Matt Lewis dropped 40, and Rowe's seat may have gotten slightly cooler.
This week (every other week?) we look at everything that is happening in the world of JMU Sports. From Swim and Dive and Golf, to both basketballs and some baseball and softball. Oh, can't forget the defending national champion talk and the Tour de Defend.
