27. Rosanna Palumbo 💃🏻 Love Letter Studio
Meeting my talented course buddy and friend, Rosanna Palumbo, from Love Letter Studio, has been so much fun.
In our chat, we deep dive into the world of lettering, calligraphy, Procreate, the iPad and our nemesis, vectorization.
Rosanna embodies multipotentialism and she loves shiny objects. She talks about her experiences from working in the dental department, working on ceramic teeth to being a mom and a teacher. Thanks to a dear friend of hers, she got back into the lettering game and has been hooked ever since.
We talk about being course collectors (check out her 'course management' system!) and eager to start new things, as well as what it's like to be self-critical and how we spend useless time worrying.
As she wanted to follow her own progress, she set up her Instagram account, @Loveletterstudio, where she showcases her fantastic work.
I love the advice Rosanna is giving in this episode and though challenging, her quote is great to take up: "Live in the moment".
Enjoy!

Energy Bouncing! That's what this episode is all about. The wonderful Anna Kamal from Love Letters SG & Love Letters Academy has such a fun and warm energy, it was an absolute treat to have her as a guest on Joke's Joyful Journey.

What does it mean to be a Multipotentialite? Do you have to know everything about multiple subjects? Speaking of which, you can find Anna best on Facebook (@loveletterssg) and Instagram (@loveletterssg). Have a look at all the amazing things she does!
Her quote is a really cool one:

04. Estée Dauphin 🌾 Art Director & Senior Graphic Designer
In this episode of 'Joke's Joyful Journey', I'm chatting with the wonderful Estée Dauphin, a French-Canadian Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer with a brilliant big, scary hairy goal.
Tune in and listen all about how Estée got over her Shiny Object Syndrome, learning to say no, closing and opening doors, sticky notes and purple people. Estée has a great way of still being able to sleep with Imposter Syndrome - yes, even after 14 years in the biz - and her quote is very calming. Also, we laugh a lot in this episode. Estée is really, really funny!
You can find Estée on Instagram (DM her, she's totally up for a chat!) and her website.
In addition, Estée and her fellow Graphic Designer friend, Aimée, have a podcast called 'Koua', where they chat (in Canadian French) about running your own creative business.
Check out her episode, interview and show notes here.
Enjoy! 🌾

Welcome 💚 :)
Welcome to Joke’s Joyful Journey; a Multi-potential Journey to Creative Clarity. In this show, I chat with amazing creative people about their own creative journey, Multipotentialism and how to deal with having many ideas, those Shiny Objects and Imposter Syndrome. And most of all: we have a lot of fun!
One of the best things that I’ve discovered in the last few years, is the TED Talk by Emilie Wapnick. For this podcast, I’ve referenced this video as well as a Wikipedia article. All the guests have received these links before the interview and it has been a treat to see that it has sparked some recognition!
Enjoy the talks; these brilliant people share some golden tips, tricks and wonderfulness. At the end of every episode, each guest has a quote they like to share. Use this quote in a creative way and share it with us. We’d love to see your creations. Make sure to give all the guests a follow. Have fun!
