Almost every book of the Bible speaks about bearing fruit. Fruitfulness is often associated with righteousness. John 15 is one example of God’s instructions to us to bear fruit. In order to bear fruit, we need to learn to abide in Him, to continually live in His love. The result is joy that is FULL! Peace on earth? Worship in pain.
We are created to worship always, no matter our circumstances. Consider the words to “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” the words of David in Psalm 22, and the words of Jesus in Matthew 26. Worship Christ Who is the spotless lamb of God, Who willingly gave Himself in obedience even to the point of death on a cross to take the penalty for our sin. He is worthy. “By His wounds we are healed.”(Isaiah 53:5) Make a decision to praise Him this Christmas!
