BIOGRAPHY Rap-rock has a decades-long history, but the hybrid genre that
includes Run DMC and Lil Uzi Vert has never seen an artist like Yung
Xavi. The 19-year-old Los Angeles-based artist opens a vein on every
song. His emotionally gripping lyrics and hooks are as powerful as
they are catchy. Whether rapping or crooning, Xavi shares his pain, so
fans recognize their own. He chronicles his life's difficulties over
grinding guitar and trap drums, deftly fusing rock and rap. Even his
most banging tracks offer a chance for catharsis.
To Jonathan, Yung Xavi's forthcoming debut is profoundly personal
and a remarkable addition to the rap-rock canon. Dedicated to his
long-departed father, the album documents Xavi's attempts to grieve
and heal, an undercurrent of sadness coursing through its brightest
moments. "Throughout my life, I've always wanted to talk to my dad
about certain stuff," Xavi says. "This album is me having the
conversations that we weren't able to have."
Born in Palm Springs, Xavi lost his father when he was just eight years
old. His loving mother worked tirelessly to make up for their loss. A
Mother, yoga instructor and health coach, she also passed on her
athleticism and work ethic.. Xavi played countless sports (soccer,
basketball, an equestrian, and more) in the sweltering desert heat
between piano and drums lessons. Rock groups like System of a
Down and rap icons like 2Pac and Notorious BIG—all of whom his
mother played for him—soundtracked his trips to practices and
games. In the late 2000s, though, Xavi discovered mashups on
YouTube. These disparate musical pairings became the foundation of
his inter-genre fluency. "Listening to those remixes made me open to
all genres," Xavi explains. "And I like to mix and mashup my music,
too."
When Xavi started his freshman year of high school, he was training to
compete in the Olympic pentathlon. Then fate intervened. The natural
and dedicated athlete fell during cross country practice, permanently
damaging his knee. Without sports or his father's guidance, Xavi was
lost. He spiraled into a deep, drug-addled depression before checking
himself into rehab at 15. Unfortunately, negative experiences there
drove him to more pills and alcohol. After several frightening
overdoses, his mother sent him to an out-of-state treatment facility.

Chuck D and Kurtis Blow’s Hip-Hop Alliance Launches New Effort with  SAG-AFTRA to Educate Policymakers, Artists, and the Media on Inequities  in Music Business

SAG-AFTRA and the Hip Hop Alliance, an affiliate of the United  Coalition for Humanity, have joined together to build a better future  for hip hop artists, and the entire music industry.

Congress voted  to approve and declare November National Hip-Hop History Month via  Resolution 331 in August 2021. The month-long celebration highlighted  the enormous influence the hip hop genre, started more than 50 years  ago, has had on our culture. SAG-AFTRA and the Hip Hop Alliance will  work together to educate artists, lawmakers, and the media about the  challenges that record labels and studios create for creators. This  includes:

“Hip-hop  is and has long been a major force in American culture,“ said SAG-AFTRA  National Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland. “We are thrilled  to partner with the Hip Hop Alliance and to work jointly to create a  more equitable music ecosystem. Together, we will protect and empower  artists through collaborative educational efforts and collective  legislative actions, like the FAIR Act, that will put an end to artists  being trapped in record deals for far too long.”

“Hip-hop culture  is the hottest scene in society today,” said hip-hop legend Kurtis Blow.  “Everyone around the globe is tuning in to listen to what hip-hop has  to say. We truly live in a hip-hop generation. Rap music is the No. 1  streamed music on the planet. The agreement between SAG-AFTRA and the  Hip Hop Alliance will bring many benefit options to the culture in the  near future. Caring for people will save lives like SAG-AFTRA did for  me!”

Kurtis Walker professionally known by his stage  name Kurtis Blow, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record/film  producer, b-boy, DJ, public speaker and minister. He is the first  commercially successful rapper and the first to sign with a major record  label. "The Breaks", a single from his 1980 self-titled debut album, is  the first certified gold record rap song for Hip Hop. Throughout his  career he has released 15 albums and is currently an ordained  minister.In 1979, at the age of twenty, Kurtis Blow became the first  rapper to be signed by a major label.

After almost 50 years, Hip-Hop finally has a holy alliance designed to  help rappers in their lives, their health, careers and overall  wellness.  Two of rap’s pioneers, and their new organization the Hip-Hop  Alliance, have connected with the executives at SAG-AFTRA to pull off a  cultural coup, which will allow for artists to receive benefits.

Ms. Nebo started writing her own songs while attending University of California, Santa Barbara in the Gospel Choir, and later in an all girl group called; “Girls In The Mix.” Nebo later decided to work in a live band, performing live music, for much needed growth. Nebo was a single teen mom of twin girls, who later married and had a daughter and son, divorced and supported them herself on a nursing salary, and continued to pursue her dreams as a singer/songwriter and performer. I knew I was destined to be an entertainer at a very young age. Michael Jackson was the first iconic musical influence to pique my interest in the performing arts. In fact, Somewhere boxed away in storage there’s a video of me dancing and singing karaoke to Michael Jackson’s “Rock with you” wearing a glove at the age of five years old. Eventually, I became intrigued with Jazz. I remember being in San Francisco, CA sitting in a Japanese Sushi Restaurant with my Grandmother. They were playing music and it was a much different sound than I was accustomed too. I asked my Grandmother “What’s that?” And with much enthusiasm, she replied, “That’s Jazz!”. It wasn’t long after that day I picked up my first Saxophone. Post receiving my Bachelors Degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, I have played at San Francisco City Hall for the Mayor London Breed and the amazing audience that was in attendance for the Black History Month Ceremony in the Rotunda Hall whilst being featured on NBC Bay Area News. Currently I provide entertainment for a variety of music gigs including weddings, conferences, private parties, churches, clubs, and lounges. I even had my own students working as a private music teacher. Over time, I added more instruments to my toolboxes such as flute, piano, percussion, and vocals. Now, I am focusing on continuing to develop as a published artist in the entertainment industry.

Scottish singer Brian McKell has featured on two singles with Eric Michael Jones and backing on Seth Storer’s quarantine album.

Released his first solo single at the end of November called “ANY OTHER WAY”

His second single “MORNING SUN” is out on the 21st of December it is a melodic song about getting older and not giving in to what people are expecting you to do but living life how you want to.

The Oh Oh Man

Leon Bip Roberts played in the Major Leagues for 12 years, was  drafted by the Padres and made his Major League Debut April 4, 1986   with San Diego, he was versatile player who played the infield and  outfield, he played for six teams  the Padres, Royals, Reds, Indians,  Tigers and the Athletics.

He has  a career batting average of 294, played in 1202 games, was an All-Star  in 1992 with the Reds and was 8th in MVP voting for the 92 season.

Bip  is an Oakland Native,  Alum of Skyline High School, served as their  Baseball Coach in ???, he was honored by the City of Oakland for his  outstanding service as a mentor to Oakland youth, he is currently a Real  Estate Broker, and just celebrated his 20th year as an Game Analyst on  NBCSports California for A's pre and post game broadcasts.  He is also  an A's Alumni Ambassador.

Singer-songwriter, Lori Nebo is a musician who writes her own songs,  lyrics and melodies with her voice. She collaborates with many talented  musicians, composers, arrangers and her music is a mix of Pop, Soul,  R&B, Jazz and Reggae. This artist also performs cover tunes from  many of her favorite artists, such as; Aretha Franklin, Teena Marie,  Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Adelle, Celine Dion and  Beyonce. According to Craig Paine, from music management;” this 4 ½  octave range vocalist is an enigma, who simply leaves her audiences  amazed and asking for more. Born and raised in Southern California, most  of her adult life, Nebo started singing in church, at the age of 9, as  her mother was a devoted Sunday school teacher. Her father is also a  musician, plays Harmonica, Piano and other musical instruments, and  lives in Riverside California. She started singing and writing songs  while at UCSB, in the Gospel Choir, and later in an all girl group  called; “Girls In The Mix.” But later decided to work with a live band,  with live musicians, much needed for growth. Nebo later moved to New  York City in the year 2000, as she began to change her career from  nursing to working as a DJ, singer and a host, and also started her own  Entertainment & publishing company; “Inspiration Love Songs,” as a  writer and publishing her own original music in Ascap.. SONGS-Many of  her own original songs are written and inspired by her four children,  songs like; “Inspiration,” and “Melinda’s Song,” in particular. She grew  up with her children as a young single mother of four. After divorcing  her husband with two twin girls, Typhanie and Tisha, 3rd daughter  Melinda and one son Edward. She supported them by herself on a nursing  salary as a certified nursing attendant, and states that it is one of  the hardest jobs any single parent can ever do. Her first album was  called;” Inspiration Love Songs'' and is available in all online stores.  Nebo released a second Album, called” I Am A Voice.” is a compilation  of 16 of her own original songs, including Martin Luther King, Time To  Fly, In The Morning Time, I Am…, Wishing on A Brand New Star. Light a  Candle was her third album she released, but took off the shelves  revamping into an album for the holiday season at the end of the year.

"The Letter Song" was written after finding a note left behind by my  daughter. As I read it, I had memories of a long letter I had written to  my father when I was a young adult and on my own. I sat down and wrote  the basic song that day.

Many Las Crucens might recognize Black as DJ Black, a radio disk jockey on KHQT-FM's HOT 103.1 for about 10 years.

I did my very first show at Hurricane Alley, called The Warehouse now. I  started doing open mics in Phoenix, Arizona and anywhere I  could perform," Black said. "Most of my comedy is from my head. I can  see something and make a joke about it. I want to do stuff that’s  relevant. I’m bridging my comedy campaign around me being the  president — Tommy Black for President 2020."

Kimberlye' McKinney is a woman of strength, power and unlimited energy whose music is defined as
edgy, classy and fun. The female saxophonist, songwriter, and producer; has a fresh sound, fresh face,
and steps over ordinary into extraordinary.

Her new album titled, "HAVE MY CAKE" is a story of trials, victorious triumph, and power, while still
demonstrating love and fearlessness. You will feel all of those emotions on one of her tracks called,
"FIGHTING DRAGONS". Kimberlye' also gives you breathe taking ballads such as her recently released
single "BREATHE AWAY", and  another ballad "WITH YOU". This is one album that is a "must have".

The native Georgian was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Her musical influence began at an early age by
her father who noticed her artistic musical expressions at the tender age of two. She was also
introduced to playing several instruments. At age eleven, Kimberlye' switched her interest to alto and
tenor saxophone and embarked on a path to become a novice songwriter. She began to fall more in love
with music, sitting in front of her record player and transcribing songs like El Debarge’s, “I like It” and
Patty LaBelle’s, “If Only You Knew”. Kimberlye' grew up influenced by musical greats like John Coltrane,
Charlie Parker, Ronnie Laws, Sonny Rollins, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Al Green, Chick Corea, Cannonball
Adderley, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pop,  R&B, Gospel, County, Classical, and others. Gravitating to all genres of
music, Kimberlye' combines a plethora of influences that is embraced and felt in her music.

She attended and graduated from Shaw University located in Raleigh, North Carolina on a music
scholarship and degree in English Studies and Philosophy and began working on her solo career at age
twenty-one. Kimberlye' became recognized as a female jazz soloist with her first “Untitled” single
produced by bass player Bernard Harris, which caught the attention of radio station WSHA 88.9FM,
receiving great responses from local as well as national listeners and was invited to the radio station to
appear as a guest artist. Kim’s relationship with Chella, a radio personality from WSHA 88.9FM, grew
when she was invited backstage where she met and played with saxophonist Donald Harrison.

In her pursuit to musical greatness, Kimberlye' has shared the stage with many greats and many
nationally known artist. Kimberlye' has decided to take her career further not only as an artist but
incorporating professionalism as a businesswoman where she also attended Full Sail University’s
Entertainment Business Master’s Program.
