My name is Leiselle Brown- Mayfield.
I'm 39, and a divorced mom of 3. I've been practicing Aerial Yoga since 2016 and I became certified to teach it in 2020.
I was introduced to the practice as an uncommon way to get a full body workout while really tapping into my body.
I truly enjoy what it allows me in terms of strength, mobility, feminine power, and a solid workout. I also enjoy giving that to others. All ages, sizes, fitness levels.
I have the unique angle of being a plus sized and minority instructor in this practice. Many layers to both of those identities.

Our guest today on the Reconnect All Podcast is Yogi Dawn Divita, owner of Divita Yoga.
Dawn DiVita has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1998. Living in Key West, FL with a handful of VHSs she instantly fell in love with the strength and flexibility connecting body and mind.
In 2002, she began studying to teach these amazing tools and techniques with others in Williamsburg, VA. In 2009 after moving her family to the North Myrtle Beach area she founded and taught at Yoga DiVita.
Dawn is a 700 hour plus Yoga Alliance accredited yoga teacher. She spent 8 amazing years teaching yoga in public elementary schools. Currently, she teaches chair yoga in the public libraries across the county, a regular schedule of kundalini yoga, yin, and hatha classes in Little River, and holds space for gathering of like minds for the more philosophical side of the practice.
Her teachings are unfiltered and authentic in hopes to reach a variety of students at the different stages of their lives.
