A volunteer for many years, Andrew Marshall shares his experience as one of the many personnel behind the scenes to help Mt Barker United prepare for thier place in the State League 2 competition. Having grown up in the UK, playing football in Australia was a way to meet new people for Andrew. Starting off as a player and eventually taking on many roles around the club. Football South Australia's Media & Digital Content Manager Matt Mays talks about his journey from England to Australia, which saw him become a male nanny during his time in Holland. A big Arsenal fan, Matt recalls when he was selected as a ball boy for his childhood club, as well as the match where he broke protocol to celebrate with two legends of the game. Part Two, Adelaide Comets' Jayden LoBasso opens up about his journey after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome three games into the new season. Through the support of his family and club, Jayden was able to defy the odds with a return to the game coming off the bench during the finals series. He describes how it all started, to the tough moments of recovery and the moment he felt his body no longer being attacked. An inspiration to everyone around him, Jayden shares his story with gratitude for the people around him at home, at his club and all of those within the community.

Adelaide Comets' Jayden LoBasso shares his journey, coming from a tight-knit community in Port Pirie before eventually moving to Adelaide for football. The dedication from his parents played a huge part, with long drives to the city on multiple nights of the week. Jayden's dedication sets him apart, he shares his memories from his boyhood club, to the big lessons learnt from his time at Adelaide United Youth. Local Football writer for the Inner Sanctum and Front Page Football, Antonis Pagonis talks of his journey growing up in Greece and the transition to schooling in Australia leading him to becoming the only 16-year-old at University. 2022 Sergio Melta Medalist Alex Mullen opens up about his early footballing years being a part of a well known football family in South Australia. He shares the memories of playing with his cousins, including former Adelaide United defender Daniel Mullen and an incident with his brother, Matt which saw him sitting out from future games with a bruised coccyx. Having his uncle as the coach of Adelaide United's Youth team didn't bring easy access for the teenager, after getting a trial with the club, it only lead to a tough conversation. Alex talks about how a move to Sydney FC under Graham Arnold became available, after his former coach Barney Smith called his own father, former coach at the Australian Institute of Sport. Kimberley Conte, the General Manager of Women's World Cup Adelaide & Legacy talk about the her new role at Football SA in the lead up to the biggest tournament in women's football coming to Australia. Her love for sport was instilled in her from a young age, growing up in Santa Barbara and getting her first taste of working in sport by putting her hand up as a volunteer. She shares how volunteering in sport lead her to Adelaide, which actually had nothing to do directly with work, but from her time involved in cycling in the USA. As the Race Director of the Women's Tour Down Under, there came some challenge, but the tournament saw success creating excitement around the event, plus she reveals why working in Football was the right choice.  Part 2 available soon.

WNPL Commentator and Sokkah Twitter personality Hayley Routley talks about where her love for football came from despite the minimal amount of time spent playing the game as a child. This year Hayley recreated a special moment with her 12 week old son and his Grandfather after attending an Aston Villa exhibition mate, plus she explains the huge mistake she thought she made when choosing her Uni degree. A project with Simon Hill and David Squired saw Hayley meet some of Australian footballs biggest names and created some special moments before getting asked to be a part of the WNPL commentary team. Hayley recalls how the opportunities came about and discusses her passion for the women's game and what it means for her daughter. Plus she talks about why she is known for her Simpsons memes.

Adelaide City's outgoing WNPL Head Coach Angelo Paul talks about life as one of SA's youngest Coaches, completing his first year Senior role at the age of 26. Angelo desire to coach came from playing under Joe Mullen for his school football team at St Peters. His career has seen him work alongside some of the states best managers, he reveals what he has taken from the experiences and how knowing the Griffins (Sandra & Greg Griffin) lead to his first position at professional outfit Adelaide United. Adelaide City's NPL coach Paul Pezos has been a mentor to Angelo, revealing what the tough coach is really like away from the pit, whilst also explaining why his first meeting with Isabel Hodgson didn't get off to the best start. Finally the first year WNPL coach explains why he is ending his time at Adelaide City and recalls the successful season that was.

Croydon FC's Captain Łukasz Klimek talks about his Polish background and connection to the Polish-Australian Club. Luke spent many days at Polonia Reserve where his dad would hang out with his friends, have traditional meals and watch football. He shares his fondest memories and gives his opinion on what needs to be done for clubs to see a return in the culture with future generation. 350 games is no little milestone and due to miscalculation we found out he celebrated the event three times, but the most important one came with a seven day social media post from the club celebrating the club legend. He goes on to share his top memories playing for the club.

Maged Ibrahim - Vipers FC (Part Two)

Vipers FC Head Coach Maged Ibrahim shares stories of his playing days, including his experience at West Adelaide under the current Adelaide United Youth Coach Airton and how it lead to his next move to Olympic. Maged reveals why he is bitter about his first season at Adelaide Olympic and why he struggled in his next move at Campbelltown City.  Plus he talks about his time at Adelaide Cobras winning the State League and how he got pushed into coaching. Part Two with Salisbury Inters Head Coach Simon Catanzaro goes into his coaching career, where it begin coaching men's football before an opportunity to join Adelaide United's Women team came knocking. Another opportunity within Adelaide United lead to a trip to Barcelona where Simon fell in love with the city and eventually moved his family over to pursue a coaching career. Simon delves into how this moment came about and the details from when the pandemic hit and being stuck in another country with his wife and son. Simon also talks about his current club Salisbury Inter and its most recent success.

Salisbury Inters Head Coach Simon Catanzaro shares stories from his playing career where he received his first contract from Graham Arnold in the NSL. Simon shares incredible stories of being flown in from Sydney to play games in Adelaide and then return home and the nights wining and dining with club Presidents before signing new contracts in the NPL in SA. A family connection lead to Rocky's time at Croydon FC which saw him break into the first team at only 14yo before moving to SASI. Rocky talks about his opportunity in Scotland, before his A-League appearances at Brisbane Roar & WSW bringing silverware, winning  championships under Ange Postecoglou. Plus, he discusses his unsuccessful trial with Adelaide United.

West Adelaide's footballer Olivia Bramley jokes about the origins of her name and the comparison to a fruit from her home in the UK. Moving to Adelaide was nothing short of a challenge when Olivia decided to make the change during a Pandemic. Prior to the move, her career in the UK saw her playing in the local leagues before getting spotted and offered opportunities. Once moving to Australia, a new teammate in Fiona Worts had a very close connection to Olivia, even though the pair had never met before. The current team at West Adelaide are proving to be the best and a 2022 WNPL & WSL Cup Final win was definitely a reason to party. Olivia reveals where the party kicked on and exposes teammates go to Karaoke songs. Plus, she shares her opinion on the state of women's football and how the Women's World Cup will hopefully change the game in this country.

EXTRA TIME with Carl Veart is a special edition bonus episode ahead of a huge fixture between Adelaide United & Adelaide City in the 2022 Australia Cup. Carl opens up about his time at Adelaide City back in the early 90's, which brought a lot of success. He explains which traits have stuck with him from his playing days under Zoran Matić. Damian Mori is one friend from the City playing days with a huge personality, and it's revealed he has had an input ahead of the Australia Cup game. Cup success is not new to Veart, winning the NSL Cup & also scoring a goal to knock out Arsenal in an FA Cup game, which he explains how it felt to be influential in such a big game. There's been a lot of cross over between City & United players and Carl Veart makes the difficult choice of choosing his favourite to have worn both Jerseys and confirms if the player will feature against his former club. Port Adelaide Pirates Captain James Skeffington shares how he started his junior footballing life at South Australia's oldest football club and what it means to the community. West Ham & West Brom were two clubs James trained with before heading back to Adelaide where he made his local debut before becoming a fixture in the Port. His move to Croydon proved to be the right decision after a tough time personally showed the true colours of his new club. James shares why he moved back to Port Adelaide and how the countries 6th oldest club has stayed strong with loyal volunteers and club sponsors. State League 2 Head Coach, Matt Gaston found himself in the top job at Salisbury United after an interesting career which saw him spending time away from football to help recover from a diagnosis which eventually lead him to joining the Defence Force. He soon enough found his way back to football, playing interstate before venturing abroad, where he featured in the early stages of the FA Cup against a familiar English team lead by a well known Irish footballer at the time. His return home saw him find his way into coaching, getting his breakthrough at Salisbury after making a tough choice to leave Adelaide Uni in a pivotal time of the season. Matt also talks about his ambitions to help the club win promotion back into the SL1 and his reasoning behind putting this ambition ahead of a massive Cup game against NPL outfit, Adelaide City.

2022 Federation Cup Final winner & the unofficial face of Adelaide City, Nicholas Bucco talks about his love for Adelaide City & the big family ties to the new board of the club. He opens up about his time playing for other prominent Italian clubs in SA and what prompted the move from Adelaide Blue Eagles to be with Damian Mori. He shares stories from the Australia Cup (Formerly FFA Cup) and being part of history knocking out WSW in 2014 & the clubs ambition to go one further than 2021. He explains his bond with identical twin brother Liam and the positives to having someone by his side during his football career. Hamish opens up on his time at Adelaide United's youth set up and why he thought it was the right move to go else where. Northern Demons longest running captain Daniel Cox talk about reaching his most recent milestone playing his 300th game for one club. Daniels love from the club comes from spending a lot of time there at a very early age with his dad and goes on to tell of his experinces having his father as his school coach. The culture the Demons seems to be very family like and the bonding the club has with the longest away trip seems to play a huge part. Daniel reveals what happens on the bus trips to Adelaide.

He shares the clubs commitment to womens football and how important it is to Fulham as well as his involvement in the mens team joining the federation. Arthur explains why he left Fulham to take on a role at Adelaide City under Damian Mori and opens up about his relationship and what it was like to witness first hand how Adelaide City's successful coach worked.

Western Strikers Head Coach Daniel Blanco recalls his childhood as the son of Socceroos Coach Raul Blanco. He remembers the times he was surrounded by football greats and how one of his coaches gave him his debut against his father in the AMPOL Cup. Daniel talk about his time playing in NSW and compares the leagues to South Australia and how his move to Adelaide came about, walking in his fathers footsteps with a coaching position at West Adelaide. Marc opens up about a massive surgery which changed his football path and how he found a new way to be involved in the local game through commentary.

Croydon FC Head Coach Travis Dodd opens up about the good times at Adelaide United under then owner Nick Bianco, the strange moments during the 2008 Asian Cup run and his abrupt end at the club. Travis also talks about becoming the first ever Indigenous footballer to score for the Socceroos and the amazing ways he is contributing to his community by coaching the Indigenous national team and taking the reigns of South Australia's first ever representative team in the First Nations Indigenous Football Cup.

Adelaide Hills Hawks favourite Daniel Pauli has a passion for his club and representing the region in which he grew up in. Pauli talks about his experiences down the Hill playing his early years at bigger outfits in Adelaide City, Metro Stars and a stint at WT Brikalla which gave him a taste of the NPL. State League 2 Goalkeeper George Savvoudis opens up about his career in football as a 21 yo studying to be a Mathematician. George shares stories sharing his time at Adelaide Comets with the then future A-League Men players Tete & Kusini Yengi, as well as his experience of going through the NTC & Skillaroos. Shares his passion for the game and why he has filled many roles around the club and what the plans are for the Demons belated 70th Birthday. Dom also opens up about the struggles of running a football club in a Aussie Rules dominated region and how the club gives back to the next generation in Port Pirie community.

State League 2 footballer Domenic Tripodi talks about his personal experience of the culture and heritage within football clubs in South Australia. What it's like juggling a full time job whilst striving to be a first team footballer in the state leagues.
