8: Physics Club - The Muffinity
I join Mrs Fairchild's Physics club to get to grips with some of the knottier issues surrounding time...
There is a guest appearance by Mr Beckett and generally the level of intellect on display from staff and students makes this the coolest club in Churston.
Like, share, subscribe :)

7: Empathy and History
This week we hear from a collection of Year 9s about their work supporting our PSHE curriculum and LGBTQ+ Pride Month.
PSHE is a critical part of our commitment to developing the Spritiual, Moral, Social and Cultural aspects of our curriculum.
Students will have access to some powerful film clips during tutor time, including pieces on racism, the power of sport, bullying and social media, immigration, resilience, leadership, gender equality, gender bias , tolerance, dress having Down's Syndrome and mental health.
Thank you to Mrs Byford and tutor team :)

5: Mental Health and well-being (RSS)
This is such a massive topic that it would be easy to dodge it BUT I know it's an issue at the forefront of our community's concerns.
I am joined by our Lead Counsellor Marie Atwell, Calum Harper (Vice President - Wellbeing) and Rebs McCue to discuss wellness, to share experiences and sign-post tips and services to help keep us all well.

Sustainability (For RSS)

4: Sustainability
Sustainability is one of our three curricular principles alongside Social Justice and Active Citizenship - but what does it actually mean?
In conversation with Miss Hadley, Genny Hawker (Yr 8) and Izzy Barrett (Yr 8) we thrash this out and make plans for how we can do even more to support our values.
Did you guess the theme tune at the start? Remember "The Good Life"? Here's a reminder of a programme centred on sustainability that was ahead of its time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf_qVE1sWMY - "Self-sufficiency in Surbiton."
This sit-com could now be seen as a visionary text for our time! How our attitudes have changed, for the better :)

3: Christmassy
The ambition for this final episode of the term, is to give all listeners the latest news, a Christmassy feel and a Churston sense of good cheer.
Warning: appalling Christmassy jokes from the outset...
