Spark In Clark Episode 4 - STEAM at Clark-Shawnee Middle School - March 9, 2020
Clark-Shawnee middle school teacher, Matt Warrington, and Springfield Museum of Art’s Curator of Education, Annette Eshelman, discuss their partnership on a unique program at Clark Shawnee Middle School that integrates art and science in their astronomy classes. Students in the program ponder questions like: How does the universe work? How did we get here? Are we alone?
Students are using digital resources, robotic telescopes, and creating artwork based on the science that they are learning. The combination of these two subjects results in an exciting, innovative learning experience for all.
For more information, contact Annette Eshelman at the Springfield Museum of Art or Matt Warrington.
