My Heart’s Cry

Children’s education in America has undergone significant changes over the decades and centuries. The decline in the quality of public education led to the push for school choice, as parents wanted more options for their children’s education. Now, families in America have numerous school choices, and parents strive to provide the safest and best educational environment for their children. Choosing to forgive uncovers my heart and exposes misplaced expectations. If someone doesn’t treat us as expected, our feelings get hurt. These expectations left unmet have led to broken relationships.

Sometimes, God will lead us to work on forgiving others for an extended period of time. He reminds us to forgive, forgive and then forgive some more.

God has led me through forgiving people and organizations who had rubbed me wrong or even offended me. Some were easier to forgive than others. But my prayer each time was that of the Lord Jesus when He was on the cross, “Lord forgive them, for don’t know what they are doing.”
