Knightmare Memories - Listener's Choice Award
Hi Listeners of Illusion!
Martin Odoni was sadly suffering from Covid when it came time to record this episode, so I'm afraid you'll have to put up with Martin Harder on his own.
We had so many great submissions to our competition that we decided to give out a secondary prize - our very own Listeners' Choice Award.
Presented here in this podcast are the seven entries we have chosen to be eligible for the main prize. We'll be starting a poll where you will have the chance to vote for your favourite memories. the winner of this poll will receive a separate prize of either a t-shirt or mug with their choice of design from our Redbubble store. This prize is completely separate from the main prize shown in the main competition post, and the poll will have no influence on the main competition (which is essentially a prize draw, where a winner will be chosen at random).
We're not analysing the entries here or giving much feedback or opinions, as we'll be doing so on a future podcast when Mr. Odoni is able to join in.We hope you enjoy listening to these entries as much as we did. Please remember that it's okay to disagree with the opinions of others, as long as everybody remains civil :)
Vote for your favourite in our poll here

(Extended Version) An Interview With Alec Westwood
I've been lucky enough to have spent the last week with my kid, so I haven't been able to edit the next episode yet. This version of the interview was previously only available on Patreon.
Alec regales us with stories of his experiences as one of the core cast of the first few series, and talks about his professional life after Knightmare

We're back!
Our extended break has now come to an end, and we're returning with what is possibly the best episode of series 4 so far, not least because of the introduction of two interesting new obstacles for the team. One is the often overlooked Transporter Pad floor puzzle, whilst the other involves the introduction of a certain new corridor which has us "buzzing" with excitement...

Christmas Special - The Dunshelm Players Present Sidriss the Confused and the Merchandising Deal of Azkaban
NOTICE: This parody was produced before JKR made her more controversial personal views known. Temporal Discussion - the Knightmare Podcast and The Dunshelm Players would like to make it clear that the production of this parody in no way represents endorsement of JKR's policies.
Trans rights are human rights.
Dazzled by critical acclaim, Sidriss publicly suggests that she and Hordriss might well be about to write yet another new volume in the Harry Potter saga. Hordriss despairs, partly because of idea-exhaustion, but mainly because his priorities are changing. His desire for literary achievement is being replaced with a growing affection for entrepreneurial conquest.
Originally released on November 4th 2011 to mark the 5th anniversary of The Dunshelm Players first audio play, Famous For Retreating.
ProductionSidriss the Confused ………… Rosey Collins Hordriss the Confuser ………… Jake Collins
Running time approx 6 minutes. Dialogue improvised by the cast. Music (intro track ‘Nothing Broken’ & outro track ‘Melodie Victoria’) composed by Kevin McLeod of Incompetech.com. Sound effects provided by The Free Sound Project and Soundrangers. Production mixed and edited by Martin Odoni. Harry Potter is copyright of JK Rowling

Inter-Season Special - Knightmare Audio Series Summer Special 2017
Whilst we take a short break to catch up on our academic studies, we're glad to be able to announce that we have partnered up with the folk behind the Knightmare Audio Series. the KAS, rather like the Dunshelm Players, are a group of talented amateur voice actors who put on plays based on The Greater Game. Unlike the Dunshelm Players though, KAS plays are more like an extension to the original TV series. They present new quests, with new teams of contestants tackling a new version of the Dungeon of Deceit. Presented here is the Summer 2017 special.
