This week’s guest is Coach Eric Marty. Coach Marty is the Head Coach at Reedley College in California. The 2018 Golden Coast Conference Coach of the Year is entering his fourth season at Reedley College. And after a 10-1 season, conference championship, and bowl game in 2018, he has brought the history-rich Tiger Football program to its rightful status as one of the premier junior college programs in the country. In this episode we look at Coach Marty’s journey in life and what he feels is the most important aspect organizations can have in order to reach their full potential. Enjoy!

He has been a school and district leader in many capacities in public education over his twenty-five years in the field. Matt currently serves as the director of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in Leicester Public Schools. Coach Kenny Simpson is currently the Head Football Coach at Southside High School, a 4A school in Arkansas. Taking over a program that had won eight games in five seasons and had been on a 20+ game losing streak, Simpson has led Southside to the playoffs for four-consecutive seasons and won two conference titles in the past three seasons.
Simpson's first book, “Find A Way: What I Wish I'd Known When I Became A Head Football Coach”, has already been a best seller on Amazon in several categories.. Another book is already in the works and will be available in November 2020.
Simpson began his coaching career at Madison Academy, in Huntsville, Alabama. He served as a junior high basketball and football coach, before working into a varsity coaching role in football. He graduated from Harding University in 2003. He is married to Jamey and has three children: Avery, Braden and Bennett. The couple was married in 2001 after meeting at Harding University.
