We are only as good as our ego. I have learned the hard way how my ego can hinder my ability to communicate with others. I had to learn what I could and could not control. Once, I was willing to remove the mask of perfection I learned to be confident in my unique skills and talents. I no longer needed to seek validation from others. I was able to rest in my skills and not feel inadequate if I did not know something. That was huge for me as my upbringing was filled with the work of being a high performer. Asking for help, learning from others and realizing that my flaws made way for me to work with others who were good at what I struggled in.

How to maximize your super power with a tribe!

As a mother of 15 children, I am always questioned by others about how I do all that I do? I have learned how to be comfortable with transparency so that I can help others eliminate the excuses for what is keeping them stuck. I often sought validation from others and was concerned with people pleasing to feel valued. My life was centered around being a high performer and full of ego that was grown from the accolades of honor roll etc. That mindset made it impossible for me to transition to a life of a stay home mom. I had no Plan B and lost my identity when I had no life that resembled what I spent my whole life working towards. I went into a 13 year struggle with depression and 3 hospitalizations. I learned after my last hospitalization in 2016, to create a fresh start with my mindset and live a life free of depression. I began sharing my knowledge with other women in order to help them avoid the pitfalls that I encountered. I now am passionate about sharing the importance of self love, boundaries and collaboration in order to live your best life. I share that message in my books, speaking events, podcast and my livestream TV series. I have also been able to create a community with women to support them in their business and personal development. What does your story say about you? There is so much power in the story we tell ourselves and others. Many times we face life's challenges that occur in the lives of others but our outcome can be determined by our mindset and belief.

The power of questions. How often do we fall into the habit of believing what we do not want to believe simply because it is familiar. Those family sayings that do not serve us. We often allow negative thoughts to take up real estate in our head with out even questioning its validity. Do we believe those thoughts? Do we want to change them? How can we change them? The power begins in recognizing that we do not have to allow thoughts to run rampant in your head. We have the ability and power to stop them when they appear. Choose what you desire today and begin to challenge those thoughts that do not serve you.
