30.4 The Trial of Jesus
The Bible testifies of a Man who healed the suffering, blessed the children, uplifted the heartbroken, spoke words of life, and rebuked hypocrisy and oppression. And yet this Man was accused of being a sinner, liar, and blasphemer. Finally, he was falsely condemned, beaten, tormented, and crucified—despite being proclaimed innocent by the prefect Pontius Pilate.
We are left to ask ourselves the same question posed to Pilate: “And who do you say that I am?” Will you choose to believe the Bible’s historical account of the life, death, and resurrection of this Man?
Listen to our latest audio magazine article, featuring this short allegory of the trial of Jesus.

30.4 A Superior Morality
Does the Bible have the power to influence a village of cannibals to give up head-hunting? Is it really a moral compass for humanity?
This short article answers these questions with a brief look at other ancient religions and how they compare to the religion of the Bible. You will find that the Bible’s morality is based on love and impartial justice—unlike anything else written at its time.

Just when we thought that the war on infectious disease was won, superbugs and viruses like MRSA, H1N1 swine flu, Ebola, and now COVID-19 have emerged with a vengeance! These epidemics and their death tolls strike fear in many, challenging the belief that science and technology will somehow insulate our modern societies from these problems.
Is it possible that science and technology may not actually hold the answer to these outbreaks? Could it be that principles for maintaining personal and community health have existed throughout history, and we have been ignoring them?
A document written millennia ago outlines principles that could have prevented many past and current epidemics. That document is the Bible.
Listen to this audio magazine article to explore some biblical health principles that are being validated by science today!
This article was written by Sabrina Petersen, who is the Associate Editor of Last Generation magazine. She has a degree in Bible instruction from Hartland College and is a certified plant-based nutritionist with the American Fitness Professionals Association.
