Julie and Christine discuss the research known as "The Science of Reading."

* Correction- at about five minutes in Christine refers to the Simple View of Reading. She inadvertently says, "reading comprehension is the sum of word recognition and language comprehension." Later, she uses the correct verbiage when she says, "reading comprehension is word recognition times language comprehension." The Simple View of Reading states reading comprehension is the product, not sum of word recognition and language comprehension.
