Leaving the Left for Liberty

Leaving the Left for Liberty

By Free the People

What motivates a person to muster up courage in a time when it’s quite controversial to step out as an individual? And how many of us are there? Sienna Mae Heath has a plan to find out. In Free the People’s new series, Leaving the Left for Liberty, Sienna talks with whistleblowers, dissidents, and other alternative voices in the Western world who have left the culture of the political Left for more creative freedom, professional freedom, and personal freedom.

Homesteading, Spiritual Realism, and Modern Traditionalism | Jacqueline Claire | Ep 30

Jacqueline Claire is a painter, illustrator, storyteller, and a dear friend of the shows host, Sienna Mae Heath. During part 1 of the interview, they discuss why she has changed her show title from Spiritual Conversation to Spiritual Realism, the disintegrative and integrative forces in our society, co-creating art as an individual and homesteading with her husband in small-town Texas. Jacqueline and Sienna also muse on the potential for a grass-roots unfoldment of an interconnected civilization and how the universal language of artful agriculture could create a much-needed momentous unity.

Homeschooling Your Spirited Children | Teva Johnstone | Ep 20

Teva Johnstone helps parents get creative about homeschooling their spirited children. Known as @NeurocuriousTherapist on Instagram, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Therapist, Parent Educator, and Consultant. Teva is a proud unschooling mom who offers a workshop for parents interested in modern homeschool and unschool. She is passionate about raising spirited and creative kids with a healthy sense of self and believes out-of-classroom learning can be a wonderful way to do that.

Host Sienna Mae Heath discusses with Teva the zealot mentality forming among contemporary ideologues, the difference between a “perfect parent” and a “good enough parent,” and qualities of spirited children that bring hope for the future.

Ryan Hartwig vs. Section 230 Big Tech Collusion | Ep 16

Ryan Hartwig was a content moderator for nearly two years working for Cognizant, subcontracted by Facebook. He reviewed and deleted groups, pages, posts, comments, and videos for Facebook and Instagram. After noticing many trends that favored liberal viewpoints and banned conservative ideologies, Ryan went public in June 2020. He has done more than 170 interviews and his efforts have led to a criminal referral to the DOJ for Mark Zuckerberg.

Ryan has been working with Social Media Freedom Foundation founder Jason Fyk who filed the first ever Constitutional challenge to Section 230 in April 2022, asserting that it “lacks the lawful exercise of executive, legislative, or judicial oversight, and is arguably unconstitutional in its current form.” In this interview with host Sienna Mae Heath, Facebook whistleblower Ryan Hartwig explains how they have made massive strides and why it may finally go to the Supreme Court as an emergency case.
