Amplifying Content and Reach Beyond Social Media with Crunch Ranjani
In this episode of Let’s Wine About Business! I have Crunch Ranjani, a content writer for purpose-driven professionals. She specializes in writing blog posts, articles, email newsletters, and social media. She aims to help small business owners amplify their impact by simplifying their content.
Listen as we talk about boosting your content’s visibility through your website and email lists and working around the oddities of social media.
The drink for today’s episode is peppermint mocha coffee.
Preview of this episode:
07:49 So basically that's what people do when they have a problem, is to run to Google and type in their search, type in their problem, and hope that, you know, they find a solution. So when you have content on your website, you are increasing the chances of being found by somebody with a problem who's seeking your solution.
9:54 On social media, people are scrolling. They are there to forget their problems. They are probably hiding in a toilet or something. That's where most of our social media consumption happens, and that's not a place where you're thinking about the problems that you have or you know, like finding a solution for your problem, that's not where people are making buying decisions.
11:20 Do you have tips for catchy subject lines that make people want to open up about what you're saying? Or just is it better to just kind of be to the point like what this is about?
14:21 what I found is that it's easier to like overcome this mindset block when you kind of do it in advance and then you don't have to think about it when it's actually going out. If you are like very hesitant like you click publish on a reel because you think you look silly or you're not sure that people wanna hear what you're saying. If you do it in advance, then you don't have to think about it and it's all like scheduled out.
23:00 I know social media is very sexy and like people are always talking about how to get 80,000 followers on Instagram or you know, have a million followers on TikTok. But honestly, like followers aren't customers. You know, you might have a million followers, but maybe just five customers. Okay. This is unlikely. But you know, there's, it's possible. You know, like being visible or like going viral on social media doesn't guarantee that you're gonna get new clients or, you know, get paid services out of that because that's just what happens, right?

Communication and Entrepreneurship with Kristina Lucia
In this episode of Let’s Wine About Business! I have Kristina Lucia, the creator of Curious Security Creations. She is also the author and illustrator of her children's series, the Bella Lucia book series. Through her limited edition animals and touching storybooks, she sparks the imagination of children along with their parents.
The drink for today’s episode is a berry smoothie and a cherry tea.
Preview of this episode:
01:00 Focus on this communication between both the child and parent. And when I say communication about feelings, at any age, regardless of where we are in our lives, we're all working from the same feelings.
18:40 What do I do next? Do you know? Ironically, something that actually approached me that summer, and it's on my work meaning my blanket crochet blankets and the chair, the crochet characters, and I said there's a business here!
25:35 And like when you said how you pursue these other ventures that weren't working for you. But you struggled, struggled with like letting go. Like that's a beautiful thing cuz I'm sure the things you've learned from these experiences are priceless
34:30 what transformational statements do is they take you out of your head and they let you create that rocket to the moon and back. And the beauty of them is as your journey evolves, it gives you a grounding of what you want.

Branding Your Business With Meg Mothershed
In this episode of Let’s Wine About Business! I have Meg Mothershed a strategy guru and co-owner of Mothershed Design Co. Meg combines her passion for entrepreneurship with a love of problem-solving to help small businesses. She manages all the nitty-gritty details of their business, as well as handles the copywriting for brands and websites. Listen in as she shares all about branding and logo for your business.
The drink for today’s episode is a cabernet and a Sauvignon blanc.
Preview of this episode:
07:00 Don't invest a ton of your resources, time, and money into your brand. Initially.
10:30 We always tell our clients that the purpose of a logo is meant to be a visual identifier of your business. It's not necessary to, you know, represent everything you do in one symbol.
12:00 The biggest piece of advice I can give is just to make sure that your logo is legible.
13:40 When you're thinking about a website, kind of think about it almost like your storefront.
15:20 How do you and your husband shut it down when it's time to shut it down? And is that hard to do living with your business?

Curiosity, Empathy, and Intuition for Creative Business Owners with Sadie Tichelaar
In this episode of Let’s Wine About Business! I have Sadie Tichelaar a certified UK life coach for women who are ready to embrace their truest selves and bring more magic and play into their life. She uses her own personal and potent blend of curiosity, empathy, and intuition to support creative business owners to tap into their own magic and feel confident to show up as their whole selves.
The drink/food for today’s episode is a rum cake and a chardonnay.
Preview of this episode:
04:30 As we get older, we stop asking questions and we just accept the things that we are told and this kind of autopilot just switches on that. We just kind of fit into our little groove of life and we just kind of roll ourselves along, not really questioning things until perhaps one day with this just nagging.
07:00 What is it my life looks like and how does that compare to what I want it to look like and what's the, what's the gap? What's missing?
13:30 Where do I want to be heading and what's the path that I. Go, what's the path that I can walk or travel through to get there? What does that look like? So, understanding where you want to go and why that's important for you is, is a really important first step
15:00 Head in the right direction.-- You need to know where you're going in order to plan the trip there. Right?
16:00 Do you find that people get worried or have this thought in their head that if they change their path or don't do what they, you know, quote-unquote should be doing that they're being selfish?
As women, we are conditioned to put everyone else above everyone else's needs above our own.
23:40 Everyone's kind of having this internal dialogue with themselves and actually that normalizing it means, okay, so it's not me problem. It's a system-wide thing that everyone experiences and that means it's. We can do something about it rather than trying to ignore it or hide it or pretend it doesn't exist.

"Strategy in Small Doses" with Michelle DeNio
In this episode of Let’s Wine About It! I have Michelle Denio a business strategist and a community builder. Her goal and mission in this world of business and entrepreneurship are truly to eliminate the loneliness and confusion of business ownership, um, through the power of peer-led mastermind groups and communities, as well as a customized one-to-one strategy for growth in a way that is in alignment with each individual person and their goals and their definition of success while surrounding them with the support and guidance that they need.
The drink for today’s episode is a mocktail— seltzer water with some frozen cherries and pomegranate plum juice, and a Stella Rosa.
Preview of this episode:
04:30 Mastermind gets is an overused buzzword, especially in the world of entrepreneurship and business, and so I think it kind of lost its potency and its power, but in its own way. I think masterminds are probably one of the most underutilized resources in business, and that is just the power of peer-to-peer.
06:30 One of the things that I think is really important and the reason why some people maybe don't get as great of an experience from a mastermind is that a lot of 'em are not vetted.
10:50 You've gotta look, you've gotta start with looking backwards and, but a lot of people look backwards and look at all the things they didn't accomplish. And I wanna encourage everybody to look back and look at all the things you did accomplish.
13:20 A new opportunity could come your way that you had no idea about and it could completely change the direction you're taking your business, but it still could get you towards that vision of success, that big number that you've had in mind.
15:00 If your business isn't changing, then it's not evolving and growing.
