Art and meditation on my summer list

How to find contentment when you are tired
I offer some words for the young professional woman (like me) who may be discontented. Don't give up! There are ways to find peace in a busy schedule.
Adoration, quiet times of prayer, and daily Mass are a few of my favourites. Plus, dancing and learning new languages.
What are your ways of finding peace and joy?

Redesign your living space, unclutter your mind
Who knew moving around some furniture could change my perspective. Watching the Design Doctors with my sister was fun. The show gave us ideas for our space. I also need to toss and tether all the useless junk and sin in my life. The sacrament of confession is like interior design for your soul. What a great place to start.

Writing is a form of prayer and healing
Did you dream of who you wanted to be when you grew up as a child? In this episode I share how as a young girl I wanted to be a writer. And penned my first few short stories.
I keep dreaming big even with a diagnosed mental illness. I am not alone. When it feels hopeless I reach for Jesus' love.

Reasons to live
It's a New Year and a fresh start! I am working on exciting creative projects. And this makes me happy after experiencing a relapse with mania and psychosis. Hope you all take care!

Furry Companions and Creative Coffee hours
In this episode, I share an article I wrote and how I am inspired by Julian of Norwich who survived a pandemic. And on one of my latest coffee shop adventures, I find time to be creative and write. Check out the children's book Can I sit with you? by Sarah Jacoby. https://www.chroniclebooks.com/products/can-i-sit-with-you for a cute story on companionship. You will also find out who my favourite furry pal is!

Step Outside Your Door for Hope
Looking for a reason to step outside? In this episode, I name a few. Nature Therapy! I love walking in gardens and my neighbourhood. With Spring comes the joy of the resurrection of Jesus. I love sharing my hope through a little Easter pep talk.

Motherhood and Mental Health with Talia Kruse
What does it mean to flourish? Talia Kruse a stay at home mother, blogger and mental health coach shares how to live a balanced life with a mental illness. She shares how therapy helps to work through deep seated fears and to find truth. She believes a lot of mental health is coming to the absolute truth about yourself in the sight of God. You can find her here https://taliakruse.com/.

Embracing Every Little Thing - Healing from Brain Surgery - with Desiree Nieckar
In this episode, I talk to my friend Desiree Nieckar who had to decide if she should undergo brain surgery or not. She shares her struggles with epilepsy, the power of prayer and the love of her family that helped her through a difficult time. Desiree shows great resilience in living her life with hope not knowing what the future would bring. It was my delight to talk to her about the healing journey that she is on. And to know that healing takes time. You can find out more about Desiree here: Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/DesireeNieckar/ - Personal Testimony - https://mystory.me/desireen

"Cling to Hope" - A Talk with Dr. Lisa Petronis
In this episode, I talk with Dr. Lisa Petronis about what makes great mental health, the benefits of being out in nature, what gives her hope and what she has learned from playing sports. You can find out more about her at https://www.drlisapetronis.com/.
Also, I share a fun fact that the shoe company Asics is an acronym for a Latin phrase meaning, "a healthy soul in a healthy body".

Friendship is stronger relief than any medicine - with Stephanie Gray Connors

I'm gearing up for sharing conversations with friends and talking on my writing process. I can't wait to tell you about my current projects. And even in this pandemic, there is always room for hope!

Self-care is not optional for me
