Victor and Amanda discuss the possibility of releasing a new LIVE kratom plant variety. Because ETHA runs its own greenhouse and grows its own live kratom plants in different varieties and kratom strains, it only makes sense that ETHA shares these LIVE kratom plants with its loyal customers. The hard part is deciding which live kratom plant variety we will launch next. Additionally, Victor and Amanda briefly review how to care for your LIVE kratom plant at home and ensure it grows successfully.  

Alexander and Victor discuss their respective kratom tolerance over the years and how it's changed from when they first started taking kratom versus now. Contrary to popular belief, they both now take LESS kratom than before. They discuss and explain how it is that they have not experienced a kratom tolerance build up while using ETHA kratom. Most importantly, they continue to listen to their bodies to determine their proper kratom dose and if needed, adjust accordingly as the body dictates.   

Amanda and Victor share their respective kratom powder stories. Amanda has been fortunate enough to not ever consume kratom powder.  In other words, she’s been very spoiled for having ONLY ever taken ETHA tablets. Victor and Amanda give a shoutout to their mothers and discuss how their mothers use ETHA kratom in everyday life. Amanda’s mother successfully replaced antidepressants with ETHA’s MidDay Gold. She did not like how the antidepressants made her feel and now enjoys how kratom helps her live her life fully. Victor recounts his mother’s very first experience with ETHA MidNight Dream and how she was one of the very first guineapigs to try ETHA kratom. Victor and Alexander review the origins of kratom and kratom's traditional use by the day laborers and farmers of Indonesia. These workers and farmers would pick leaves directly off the kratom tree and would brew these leaves into a brewed kratom beverage. The natives of Indonesia used this brewed beverage to help alleviate their aches and pains and to give them a natural boost of energy. Today, ETHA has simplified the process with its kratom tea bags and ready to go brewed teas. However, some traditionalists like Victor, still love to brew their own leaves directly off the kratom plant or tree. Finally, Victor and Alexander discuss consistency as the key to producing effective and reliable kratom products. 

Victor and Amanda discuss how ETHA's SlimFit and DayBreak premium kratom blends were created. Amanda talks about her fascination with matcha as her “healthier” alternative for a nice caffeine boost. After some investigating she realized that with her daily matcha lattes she was consuming over 32g of sugars!! She soon stopped drinking the matcha lattes and encouraged Victor and Alexander to develop a kratom product with Matcha Green Tea. She now uses ETHA SlimFit kratom blend to give her the natural energy boost she seeks without all the sugar found in commercial drinks. Alexander and Victor discuss how difficult and time consuming their chronic pain management has been over the years. In fact, like for many pain sufferers, their chronic pain management turned into a full time job. Before kratom they were only able to find sporadic and temporary pain relief. However, after many years of struggling, they both found consistent and ongoing relief. Both employ a well-rounded and holistic self-care routine that includes among other practices, ETHA kratom. Other practices they employ include breathing exercises, small beneficial life changes, better diet, and frequent exercise or activity. All combined with ETHA kratom use, as needed, this routine has drastically helped with their chronic pain management. As a result, they now live more comfortably day to day and have never felt better both mentally and physically.     

Alexander and Victor discuss ETHA kratom dosing and how they each figured out their unique dose through a process called Self-Titration. Self-Titration is the gradual adjustment in the amount ingested, while noting interim results, to reach the desired effect. Victor shares how newbie in-store ETHA customers are usually taking way more kratom powder than they typically need. In other words not their true dose, but in excess. Victor explains to these new customers how through self-titration he has arrived at his current personal kratom dose. As such, they are typically shocked to discover how much less kratom they actually need to ingest and still get the desired effect. Additionally, Alexander explains how he uses ETHA’s Concentrated Full Spectrum Kratom Tablets for extra extended release from his aches and pains. Finally, Alexander and Victor reminisce they did an experiment on who could take the most kratom. Don't worry! No ETHA founders were harmed in this experiment! And they did not feel any serious side effects. 

Alexander shares details about his recent ski trip to Mammoth. Not too long ago Alexander joined The Wilderness Basics Class by The Sierra Club in San Diego. One of the valuable skills this club teaches its members is proper backpacking etiquette. As such, Victor and Alexander discuss Alexander's backpacking experience in Mammoth and what he got out of it. Additionally, Alexander and Victor share their respective traveling struggles and what each does to help make travel easier for them. One of those things of is bringing your kratom along on the journey. Finally, Alexander talks about the convenience of traveling with ETHA’s concentrated kratom products and how much space they save in your luggage.

Amanda and Victor discuss their mutual struggles withstanding stress and keeping focus despite the craziness of everyday life. Amanda does a deep dive description of her typical work responsibilities. She breaks down what she does and how she uses kratom when she feels stressed and overwhelmed. In fact, it is when she uses kratom she is able to stay focused on her daily tasks and get through her work day efficiently. Victor confesses that kratom has given him the patience to deal with the daily stress of parenting. Victor and Amanda discuss their personal adventures of traveling with kratom. Amanda shares her experiences of traveling throughout 15+ countries with kratom and having absolutely no issues, except for in the "happiest place on earth". Victor shares how he was stopped at the airport while en route to the Netherlands because of kratom in his carry ons. Victor and Amanda discuss the development of MidNight Dream. As entrepreneurs, both Victor and Alexander struggle a lot with getting into deep sleep on a regular basis. When on a work trip in Texas, Alexander and Victor discovered Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). How do we locate pain? How do we measure pain? ETHA Co-Founders, Alexander and Victor, discuss research by Dr. Christopher McCurdy on the Sigma One Receptor.  Dr. McCurdy is doing a clinical trial that combines an MRI along with a PET scan with a fluorinated compound that Dr. McCurdy developed. What they found is that the Sigma One Receptor gets highly activated when nerve endings are firing with pain signals. Now they can review a MRI and PET scan with the fluorinated compound to locate pain and its intensity. Additionally, Victor reveals how he has avoided surgery and instead manages his chronic pain naturally.
