Pivot to a Virtual Gala with Gretchen James Part 2
We conclude our conversation about the JDRF of Middle and East Tennessee's virtual gala. They had three weeks to plan and pivot an over 1,000 in person event to a virtual experience. And on April 25th, they pulled it off!
On this episode Gretchen and I dig into the details a bit for the event. We talk through their staffing and volunteer needs to pull the event off. We go through how they engaged the table hosts to create a buzz for the event. We also talk about the silent and live auction they had as part of the event. She also discusses the financial goals for the event.
TWO Things we didn't record but should have for the podcast was her advice for those looking to pivot to a virtual event.
