Every Job I've Had and Why They Matter - Part 2
Hi all, been a hot minute! At the end of last episode, I left off at my last minimum wage job of working at a smoke/vape shop. Today, I discuss how I got a "real" corporate job and began my career along with lessons I learned. There will be one more episode to this series that goes into my current roles in freelance, part time, and full time work.

Every Job I've Had and Why They Matter - Part 1
This is part 1 of every single job I've had and why they matter to me. I've had a myriad of different jobs in the past decade and learned a lot from each one. I recently reflected on them this past week and wanted to talk about it. The music for this episode was kind of low so I apologize, it will mostly just be my voice.

Hiatus Over. Revisiting "SELF HELP"
Hi all, I'm back to making regular episodes again. I got some good topics to run by you scheduled out! In this episode, I don't really talk tech too much but discuss why I took a break and my recent dive back into personal care. These past few months have been pretty wild and I've undertaken some things that will hopefully be helpful again. This time, I'm building habits to keep me on track and I'll update as we go forward.
I've done this pod for several months now and my friend's advice to me still remains: it's okay if people listen or not, do it for yourself and if what you talk about brings value to someone, great. If not, at least you've done it for yourself.
This episode really reminded me of that advice :) If you want to keep following along, please rate, follow, and subscribe. Thanks!

Passive Income is OVERRATED!
Hi friends, in this episode, I give my opinion on the idea of passive income. Since the pandemic and the craze of wallstreetbets, so many of us have been hunting down different methods to generate "passive income". After reflecting on this topic for awhile, I've come to several conclusions that I share here. Thanks for listening!

The Great Resignation Navigating Through "Entry Level" Jobs
Hi friends, in this episode we discuss the recent phenomena of the Great Resignation of 2021 and how I navigated through "entry level" job positions. With the demand for employees in the workforce higher than ever, it is the first time in years where we have leverage in negotiation in the hiring process. It's time to look over the credentialing issue in the US and start putting yourself out there!

Avoid Predatory Certification Videos on YouTube!
Lately, there has been a SPIKE of youtube videos advertising fake dreams of earning $100k+ immediately after obtaining some google certifications. While the certifications are legitimate and do provide value, the way these content creators advertise them are unrealistic and dishonorable. They encourage people to use their affiliate links to sell services on websites like peopleperhour, fiver, and upwork. While those websites are great for offering services, they do not talk about the thousands of other people who will undercut you for pennies. Don't be fooled! These content creators have never even done the certifications themselves and they are just trying to get you to sign up with their links to make a few bucks.
If you know anyone that is falling for this predatory practice, let them know and help them!

Rebranding/Changing the Way I Podcast
Hi friends, Sean here. I'm changing the way I podcast so that I feel like my authentic self lol. I felt like what I was putting out on "GGOOM" wasn't really genuine. I worried so much about mistakes and numbers that I ended up scripting so many things and sounding robotic. I hope to share my passion for tech and life as ME and not put out 'lectures'. We will continue to talk about tech, career development, and life so if you enjoy these types of topics, follow along. Thank you!
