By The Lucky Boys
Will and Norm are the founders of Old Kid Productions, a media company based in New York City. In the early days, they would have conversations and hold brainstorming sessions at coffee shops, park benches, friend's apartments. They thought some of these talks should be shared with the world and decided to start discussions about everything and anything, no holds barred conversations with friends in business, entertainment and everything in between.

When Dallas-based comedian Peng Dang finished his ten-minute set and sat down, facing the stage, he didn’t expect Tony Hinchcliffe to take the mic and call him a “filthy little fucking ch*nk". Uncovering Discrimination And Saving Chinese American History w/Mott Street Girls: #79
Uncovering Discrimination And Saving Chinese American History w/Mott Street Girls: #79
Will and Norm speak with the Mott Street Girls (MSG), founders Anna Huang and Chloe Chan. They are second-generation Chinese Americans who met through tour guide training at the Museum of Chinese in America. During the COVID-19 crisis, they saw how xenophobia and misinformation decimated tourism in Chinatown and threatened the survival of many residents and immigrant-owned small businesses.
This led them to co-found MSG to make Chinese American history and culture more accessible to the public. By hosting Chinatown walking tours, creating educational social media content, and partnering with community organizations, they strive to preserve Chinatown’s rich cultural heritage, bring business to the neighborhood, and share the stories of their community.
