Making Westerns with Travis Mills

In this episode, I talk with acclaimed French cinematographer Steeven Petitteville, who I worked with on the new Western TERROR ON THE PRAIRIE. 

We discuss everything from his background to his days in the camera department on films directed by the likes of Jean Pierre Jeunet and Alejandro Inarittu to his first jobs as a DP on movies such as THE VEIL with Jessica Alba and, of course, working together last year in Montana. Steeven shares great insights for cast and crew about how a DP thinks and works. I hope you enjoy our conversation.

In this episode, I talk with Casting Director David Guglielmo about the casting process. He provides a lot of great insight for actors and filmmakers, along with stories about working on fantastic films such as Standoff at Sparrow Creek and VFW. We also discuss David's directing work on films such as No Way to Live (available on Tubi) and his love of Film Noir/pulp literature.
