Man Strong #5 - Redefining Normal, Pidgeon Holing and Over Expecting - Let's Refocus | Dave Ramsay
Todays episode doesn't need much of an introduction, its just brilliant!
Dave, who I first met when he jumped on one of my 'Roast N Toast' calls (see www.sixconnections.co.uk) has a really powerful story to tell.
No bells, whistles or fantasy underdog stories think more raw than that.
One day things HAD to change. Dave had been putting a brave face on for too long and it had broken him.
Find out why and what he did in this episode as we discuss things like:
-Why having the conversations we do today open the way for younger generations to have a new 'normal'
-Why doing the man thing and putting a mask and a front on does you no favours
-Why sometimes, your best friends aren't who you thought they were when the crunch comes.
If you want to follow Dave you can find his Instagram @manifestamens.

Man Strong #4 - My Friend Saved My Life, Then Ended Up Taking Her Own - Lets Work Together To Stop Bad Men Abusing | Anthony Fuhrman
Hello and Welcome back!
Today see's me talk with Anthony, a former US Soldier, a World Class Strongman and former organiser of the CLASH Pro Series Strongman Event.
We touch on these experiences, but really what was at the forefront of the conversation was the story of his friend Rebecca.
Just a few weeks ago, Rebecca took her own life.
Rebecca was a Strongwoman athlete too, that's how they met and became good friends.
That's where todays chat comes in, before Rebecca passed she told the world via her social media that she had been abused by someone within the sport.
Even distancing herself was not enough to help her, and Anthony talks today about what he thinks we can do to help support those who are suffering,
vulnerable, but also what organisations can do to help curb abuse.
Its definitely not right, but it is very common.
I would say if you feel particularly sensitive about this subject please go ahead and find a good time for you to listen to this.
If you have any comments or questions please leave them through your podcast streaming service or DM on Instagram @manstrongpod
Enjoy!

Man Strong #3 - I Throw Myself Into Everything I Do - That's Tough On My Family - Identity Talk | Daniel Powell
Hello and welcome back!
I have know todays guest for around 4/5 years now, we always have fun when we catch up.
But rather than being a brew chat (It kind of is) I wanted to know what has driven Dan to have so many different jobs and passions over those years.
I met Dan as a personal trainer, he is now a stand up comedian and an award winning writer.
What was behind the changes?
What does the future look like?
What I wanted to know most?
What drove the changes he has made? What effect did they have on his family?
Dan has 3 kids, a loving wife and a house to pay for. Never mind COVID!
If you have ever thought about following a passion, but feel it would be too hard on your family. Listen up!
If you want to follow Dan on his road to the Edinburgh Fringe you can do so @dan_powell_comedy

Man Strong #2 - Lets Normalise Talking About Testosterone - Hormone Optimisation | Ross Tomkins
Hi guys!
Welcome back for episode number 2 of the Man Strong Podcast.
Today is a special event, we have a crossover between The Superhero Finder Podcast and The Man Strong Podcast!
TSF is my other project - if you haven't visited please do - www.anchor.fm/superherofinder - over 2000 downloads so far!
Why? Well my guest today Ross is an absolute fountain of knowledge on Hormone Optimisation, and what effect low testosterone can have on a man.
He lived it, tried it and has founded Alphagenix to help other men look into the other reasons as to why you might feel down, foggy, less masculine even.
We chat about the idea of toxic masculinity with a suggested change to it, as well as our wishes to normalise conversations on man stuff.
Ross likes to take his new found energy and use it to do some incredible things. Not only is his aim to change the way men think and talk about themselves but he also just came back from climbing Aconcagua in Argentina! Talk about a superhero..
He speaks beautifully and passionately about the subjects involved, what a great conversation, we definitely had more we could discuss.
You can find Ross on Facebook and LinkedIn - search for Ross Tomkins, he shares some great and inspiring content.
Do you know someone that would be great to feature on this podcast? If you do pass their details on to me at MANSTRONGPOD@GMAIL.COM and I will be in touch.
Please review us, and feedback on the episode welcome as always.
Thankyou! Matt
