Episode 8- Beneath the Waves- Network Analysis
This week we have Dr. Danish Mishra on Beneath the Waves we have. Danish started out in rocket science and he now helps organisations build competitive advantage. He is Complete’s head of analytics.
Danish specialises in understanding how knowledge, and specifically tacit knowledge, flows through networks, whether they are human, social, or computer networks. In his research career, he has worked on Formula One teams’ network to reveal how networks drive innovation and are a source of competitive advantage. Today, he uses his deep mathematical and management knowledge to tackle some of the toughest challenges in business – attrition, competitive advantage, organisational design, innovation, and engagement.
The impact of networks on education is becoming ever more prevalent as we are more digital.

This podcast is taken from the Webinar- Beneath the Waves. It is about looking Beneath the Waves (surface behaviour and tangible impact) and how our physiology, emotions and feelings influence our thinking, behaviour and connection. We look to support those being hit by waves of change to increase their capacity beneath them, so we are more stable in support others.
This week we look at the impact of physiology, particularly the relationship between the lungs, heart, and brain, and provide techniques to find coherence and increase your capacity in challenging situations.

Matt Silver is a Head Teacher in an Outstanding SEND school in Harrow, a doctoral researcher in positive psychology and a lecturer on various Leadership Masters with the National College of education.
Dave Hughes has over 25 years in commercial business, largely working with Unilever. He is now a Senior Practioner with Complete, a coaching group that works with deep science and cutting edge practice to support the C-suite of business. Dave has been working with Matt's team for over a year and together are seeing profound results for staff and students alike.
