Narcan is an opioid medication to reverse or reduce the effects of an opioid overdose. McKinley Health Center recently partnered with Champaign-Urbana Public Health to distribute Narcan through McKinley's Health Resource Centers on campus free of charge to students and staff. The Illini Wheelchair Seating Clinic at the University of Illinois works to provide wheelchairs and scooters to UIUC students, faculty/staff, and the Central Illinois community. It's that time of year when stress levels begin to rise with the semester coming to a close, finals taking place and many heading back to home. We are excited to launch a wellness series this year. Our first of several episodes kicks off with students responding to the question, "what is wellness," led by UI student, Ryan LeShock. We also have staff from Campus Recreation, Alana Harris and McKinley Health Center, Bri Whitted who do wellness related programming and provide services in this area. Tune in to learn about the different dimensions of wellness and the value in understanding and reflecting on your own personal wellbeing.
