The honor of holding the title of a Father is a gift, the pain of being bestowed the title of a Deadbeat Dad is curse. The title of a Deadbeat Dad has connotations that are unjust for most Men that are giving this title.
I've learned from my situation over the years with the Mothers of my Children, and court systems that there is more to this than meets the eye. And over the years I've battles many demons to overcome my own sense of being Deadbeat Dad to begin living my life again. Yes, living my life again. What most fail to realize is that Men on child support and have arrears are on unstable financial ground, are managing tricky and volatile emotions, and ripe to take on addictive behaviors to mask the true discomfort within them.
