Episode 63 - Ross from The Donner Party
I had the chance to shoot the shit with Ross, the singer/guitar of The Donner Party at their album release party for their new album "Cutting Class". The album is out on Soulgrinder Records and it's the new labels debut release. It's a great interview with an absolutely killer band and hang around at the end to hear the a track off the new album "Mondo America".

Episode 62 - Cheers to Derek
It's been a few years since our friend Derek moved on to the next big adventure, but through his Mom and Dad he left a little time capsule for us to go through. It was a great time going through all the paper that he had saved over the years like the gig posters and zines, etc. Huge thank you to Dale and Debbie for passing the packet of memories on to us to share with everybody. Episode 61 - When Treenock Comes A Knocking
We had Stoyer and Josh from PA's Treeknock in to shoot the shit about the band and what they're up to. Episode 60- 60 Shows Deep in Bullshit
Episode 60 is us doing what we do best, talking about show, music , beer and playing some killer music. Huge shout out to Treenock for the music at the head and end of the show. In between we played Pagan Altars from Licht de Urteils, and Trouble Mort from Wyrms and both bands can be found on the label, Purity Through Fire. Episode 59 - John From Rock Bottom
On this show we had a great time shooting the shit with guitar player John Lowe of the band Rock Bottom. They are a kick ass PA band that brings all the best of hardcore and thrash, and transcend the crossover moniker! they are on the verge of a new album release on September 30 titled "Speedway". Episode 58 - Skullshitter
We had the distinct honor to shoot the shit with Ryan and Rob from NYC's Skullshitter! This was truly one of my top 5 interviews and we had a great time talking to these guys, and hope you'll dig listening! there was a technical blip at the 11.5 minute mark, and there was no easy way to edit it, so it stayed in. Episode 57 - Cam Schwarz of The Growl Documentary
We had the distinct honor to shoot the shit with Cam Schwarz, who if you don't know is involved in the momentous task of telling the history of death metal through the lens. Cam is a great interview and we not only talk about The Growl, but metal in general, and whatever else comes up as is our MO. Juan and I had the pleasure to shoot the shit with Cam in Montreal at Quebec Deathfest in 2018 and I always said I wanted to have him back on, and we finally made it happen! I hope you all enjoy!

Episode 56 - Bill from Threnody
We got to talk to Bill Hyland from the reformed Reading death metal band Threnody. Threnody was one the pioneers in the Reading / Berks County death metal scene, so as huge fans of them it was our great honor to talk to Bill about the revival came about, recording, mastering and of course history. Episode 54 - Mark from Willow Creek Brewing
In this fun remote interview we sat down with Mark Camlin, who along with his wife Joanne, started and and own Willow Creek Brewing in West Reading, PA. It's a great conversation that covers various topics from brewing and getting started in West Reading. Please be sure to put Willow Creek Brewing on your must visit list if you get to SE Pennsylvania, as the atmosphere is great and the beer is even better!

Episode 53 - King of Talk
We got to shoot the shit with the one and only King Fowley. It was a great session of shooting the shit with one of the funnest dudes in metal to talk too. King covers everything that's going on with Deceased and October 31 and tells some great metal stories. It's a damn good chat, so grab a beer and sit back and enjoy!

Episode 52 - Mike and Zach from Andherra
BN and I had a great time shooting the shit with Mike Zach from Andherra. We cover everything from Zach joining the band, his other band, Ocean of Illusions, and we get a little into Mike shooting the Rivers of Nihil videos. It's a great catch up with a great friend and a great introduction to a new friend of the show! Grab a beer and enjoy this fun session!

In Episode 51 we get to talk to the founder of one of our favorite bands, Jason Netherton from Misery Index! Jason talks with us about the upcoming album, their video shoot at the Otto Bar in Baltimore, his online 'zine archive, his book Extremity Retained, his new record store in Helsinki,The Other Records, and a ton of other topics we manage to cover in about an hour. Episode 49 - A Burial in the studio
We got Burial In The Sky back in the basement to ride the MBBS conversation train to nowhere! We had a great time talking to our friends in Burial about everything from the formation of the band to their amazing new album "The Consumed Self" and what the future holds and just about everything in between! it was a great time with amazing friends and we can't thank them enough for hanging with us and sharing their time!

Great interview we did with Jasan Stepp of Polkadot Cadaver, Dog Fashion Disco, Knives Out, El Creepo, In The Blind, Beyond Paranoid, and Razor to Wrist Records, plus a few bands I'm sure I forgot! Jasan was kind enough to take some time and shoot the shit with us about the projects he's involved in and where things are at currently. Jasan was a great interview and we can't wait to catch them on the road soon!

Legendary thrash singer Eric A.K. was kind enough to talk to us on his anniversary about the up coming Flotsam and Jetsam album, "Blood in the Water", out June 4th via AFM records. We had the distinct pleasure to talk with Martin Windholm of Sweden's Domkraft about the upcoming release "Seeds". Domkraft are an absolutely killer doom, sludgy, stoner band from Sweden. I can't stress enough how much I dig this heavy as fuck album. Martin was gracious enough to talk to spend some time shooting the shit with us, and we cab't thank him enough. A return to the shows we love doing, it's just the 3 of us riffing on a little bit of everything from Metallica to vinyl to beer! We played 2 songs from 2 incredible bands, Ultimate Power Corrupts from Philly, and Scordatura from Scotland! We drink and talk about 3 beers including 2 great local brews, and did I say we shoot the shit?????

Episode 38 - Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride
We had the immense pleasure to talk with Aaron Stainthorpe, vocalist of My Dying Bride, about their latest Ep Macabre Cafe. We also talk a little about The Ghost of Orion, which was released earlier this year and the bands first on Nuclear Blast. Finally we talk about the new beer they have released in conjunction with Darkland Brewery in Yorkshire, a classic Vienna lager. A super interview with an amazing artist! Episode 37 - Ryan and Mutz from In The Fire
In this episode we sit down with Ryan Moll and Mutz from In The Fire. As usual it devolved into a free for all bullshit session and was one of the funnest we've done. It was a damn good time and we shoot the shit about all the bands these guys are in now and were in to include In The Fire, Assaultica, Total Fucking Destruction, Rumplestiltskin Grinder, and Azure Emote. An unbelievably good time and barrel of fucking laughs! Episode 36- Kyle Thomas of Exhorder, Trouble, and Heavy As Texas
We had the distinct pleasure of shooting the shit with one of my favorite vocalists, Mr. Kyle Thomas, of Exhorder fame. This was a seriously fun interview and Kyle covers tons of ground in the time we had from Exhorder in the beginning to now, and everything in between! Listen through to the end for the Heavy As Texas tune, King of Fools. It was truly an honor to talk to Kyle and we hope to have him on again!

This is a killer interview with Christopher Mazeika who along with his partner Ann, own Vinyl Altar in Philadelphia, which is one of the most killer spots anywhere to find all the metal you can handle on vinyl. Episode 25 - Interview Series Marc Rizzo of Soulfly and Cavallera Conspiracy
We got a quick interview in with guitar legend Marc Rizzo from Soulfly and Cavallera Conspiracy at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. Marc was doing a short solo run with dead By Wednesday, and the night we seen him Opus and Mike from DBW were his backing band. It was a great, if not too brief conversation with one of the great metal shredders today .

Chris and Steve from The World Without Us ventured up to the basement studio to talk about their upcoming Ep, Incarnate. We had a great time shooting the shit about all manor of nonsense, and finding out Juan spits. We play the single off the Ep, I Am The Mist. Great phone in interview with the talented metal master, Conan of Exmortus. Conan talks about the upcoming Ep, Legions of the Undead, scheduled for release on October 25 of this year, the upcoming tour with thrash veterans Death Angel, past tours, and band line up through the years.

Episode 22 - Interview Series Howling Giant
In this our first show in this new series within the show, we interview Howling Giant whose new release , The Space Between Worlds , was released September 27th, and is a phenomenal ride from beginning to end! These guys were a little different for in that we tend to focus more on death and thrash metal on the show. Their stoner, doom, progressive style of music appeals to a wide audience and I found almost everything they put out had me engrossed in the music from beginning to end. Twist one up and enjoy the ride! The Space Between Worlds is out on Blues Funeral Recordings and you can find Howling Giant on social media on Facebook and Instagram. Episode 21 - On The Road At Quebec Deathfest 2
Juan and I went to Quebec Deathfest and had the amazing honor to interview Samy from Patent, Dan Lilker from Blurring and Cam Schwarz from The Growl, an in the works comprehensive documentary about death metal. Unfortunately I found out the limits of our lavalier mics and the interviews sound like shit. our wrap up sound pretty good despite the fridge in the room doing its best to put the kibosh on it. I was going to scrap it , but ultimately I think it;s stiil great if you can bear the sound quality.

Episode 20- Rehab or Bust!
Welcome to episode 20! in this milestone for us episode we shoot the shit about our up coming vinyl thrash/ metal trivia night at The Nitro Bar in West Reading, PA, Quebec Deathfest, the upcoming Shocktoberfest concert, and the Kennet Brewfest in Kennet Square, PA. We drink a few beers and review and/ or bitch about them. I wont spoil the surprise. The music on this episode is a band from Portland called Vintersea. Extremely talented and pretty badass!

Episode 18- Darrell from Unu- T-45
Another great episode hanging with Darrell Creel from Alexandria, Virginia based thrash band Unu-T-45 recorded in the MBBS Studio in my basement. Darrell talks about his time in bands in Virginia, then moving to Florida and hanging with Chuck Schuldner, and the Obituary boys, and finally making his way back up to this neck of the woods and joining Unu-T-45. . This is a great episode with music from Baltimore based Unendlich, PA's own The Hopewell Furnace, and the show plays out with Unu-T-45. We drink beers from Main Brewing Company, Clown Shoes, and Lancaster Brewing Company.

Episode 17 - Rich Hoak of Total F@%king Destruction/ Brutal Truth
This was my favorite remote interview so far. Rich was an amazing guest who was gracious enough to invite us into his house and shoot the shit about his life in music and to talk about Total Fucking Destruction, his current band, and all the other bands and projects he's been in, including grindcore masters Brutal Truth. Total Fucking Destruction has a new album out on Give Praise Record called #USA4TFD so check it out after the interview!

Episode 16- Soulgrinder Zine Metal Assault XI Interviews
Shawn and Bignose headed up to Allentown, PA to hang out at Soulgrinder Zines Metal Assault XI at The Alternative Gallery and got to talk with Gary from Chicago legends Wrath, Ross from New Jersey crossover kings, The Donner Party, and last but not at all least we talked to Alex and Caleb from Pennsylvania thrash beasts Fatal Agent. It was another killer show put on by Paul at Soulgrinder Zine.

Episode 15 - John Jarvis Interview
We had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with John Jarvis of Fulgora, Scour, Kolten Wong City, Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nose Bleed fame and talk about his management company, Jarvis Booking and Management. It was a really cool interview that give some insight as to what goes on behind the scenes of the band machine and what's involved in keeping it running. We recorded in Juan's car so as with most of our mobile interviews the sound isn't perfect. I hope you all enjoy this one, and a huge Thank You to John Jarvis for taking the time to talk to us!
