Season 2 Episode 13: One of the biggest reasons we give up when trying to lose weight, why the scale is not moving & how to stop yourself from over indulging

Season 2 Ep: 12 Why you need to start ADDING to your diet to lose body fat
Normally when you are on a diet or thinking about a diet you go into the mindset that you need to eat less, cut out this, and that. Now I want to change that, I want you to ADD to your diet rather than take things away.
To many this will feel like you are consciously eating MORE than you have been used to, even when you were not dieting.
The difference is the type of foods you will be choosing. I do not want you to cut out your pizza, pasta, chocolate, crisps etc, I want you to include all of those things BUT what I want you to do is right inside this episode.
Check out the reasons inside this podcast why adding to your diet and actually eating more will help you to not only lose body fat but feel more energise, feel like you want to stick to it this time and not want to give up.
As mentioned in the podcast:
An example of a way to get protein into each meal. This is not a specific or bespoke meal plan and should not be followed as such:
Breakfast: 1 slice of sourdough toast, 2 poached eggs and 1/2 avo, 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced(21g protein)
Lunch: Chicken wrap with lettuce, cucumber and mayo plus 1/2 a red pepper chopped up and a bag of crisps(26g protein)
Snack: Protein Yoghurt and handful of blueberries:(22g protein)
Dinner: Lasagne with a side salad (27g Protein)
Snack: Aero Mousse, 2 strawberries & 1 square of dark chocolate
Total: 96g protein*There are other macronutrients here too, carbs and fats but our main focus at the moment is protein.
Red lentils (boiled)
Chickpeas (canned)
Tofu (steamed)
Kidney beans (canned)
Baked beans
Wheat flour (brown)
Rice (easy cook, boiled)
Bread (brown)
Bread (white)
Pasta (dried cooked)
Porridge oats
Almonds

Other sources:
Chicken breast (grilled, without skin)
Pork chop (lean, grilled)
Beef steak (lean, grilled)
Lamb chop (lean, grilled)
Tuna (canned in brine)
Salmon (grilled)

Prawns (cooked)
Chicken egg (whole, boiled)

Season 2 EP: 11 The Biggest reason people have for not being able to lose weight - lack of time. Here is how to fix that
The biggest reason I find people use that they have not been able to lose weight or focus on themselves is because they do not have time. Time blocking forces us to look at where our time is going and encourages us to reflect on our priorities and to choose what is really important. We can’t do it all in one day, so we need to look at the most important tasks we want to accomplish. Scheduling a specific time when we are going to work on that particular goal allows us to narrow down what needs to be done and what can wait.We have all been there when we are scrolling on our phone and before we know it, 30 minutes has gone! We could have put the washing away, started dinner, spent time with our kids but yet... we continue to scroll! If you want to spend time on social media, do it, just time block it.
