By MiddleTree Church
Our church exists because we want to encounter a powerful, living God who changes and transforms lives. Because of what God is doing in our lives, we are committed to loving, serving, and bringing restoration to those around us. We believe we should make every place better physically and spiritually—starting with our city.

Why We Sing : Repetition of Petition
Why We Sing, exploring the motivation for worship.
Every Sunday we assemble together and, without fail, you can expect a couple things. To hear a message from Scripture and to sing some songs together. But why do we sing? This isn't some recent trend in the church, it's something the church has always done. But why? In this three week series, we take a look at a few psalms to understand the motivation for singing throughout the ages and why it's important for us to practice today.
Join us as we take a look at Psalm 86.

What Manner of Man is This?
In this stand alone message from Crystal we ask What Manner of Man is This? Who is this Jesus who is calling us to follow Him? What does he want us to know? What are his attributes? What did he teach? How did he live? How does he want us to live?

Begin Again : Answer the Call
Failure saps us. It reinforces our hesitancy to try again; gives us another reason why we “shouldn’t or couldn’t”. When it comes to faith, some of us can give a well-reasoned response for our hesitancy. But, it may be wise to challenge that hesitancy.
In this new series, we go back to the beginning. But not our beginning—Jesus’. We take a look at how his ministry began, early steps he took in Luke 4 & 5. Steps that reveal his nature, mission, steps that direct our own path. Join us as we, “Begin again”.

All Out Summer: Go and Be the Church
It’s not natural to think of others before or ahead of ourselves. Yet, when we look at the life of Jesus, we see a rebuke of our me-centric approach to life. It allowed him to see others when others couldn’t see beyond themselves. Let’s not be natural.

Jesus Changes Everything
In this stand along message with Pastor Kurt we take a look at Luke 5 where we see that God is the Source, God is the Sustainer, and God is the Significance. Be challenged as we're reminded that Jesus never intended for the work He does in our lives to remain private.

Set Apart: Live Brilliantly
When a person encounters Christ and makes a decision to follow Him, what changes? Does God have a plan? We’d all agree there should be a noticeable difference in the Christian’s life…the way they walk, do community, and operate within an often-despairing world. This 3-week series explores 1 Peter 1 & 2, to help us understand & live out Gods command to us to, “Be holy as I am holy”.
