Look up Bloom's Taxonomy and think about how it relates to our growth on the job. Basic fundamentals. Time alone does not constitute growth nor does it guarantee that you walk away with valued experience. We still have to do our part!

Make sure you do your research when it comes to compensation. Your degree and title does not equate to a particular salary. Knowledge and experience are what most companies are looking for.

You wanted to lead so now comes all of those responsibilities with it.

Highlight from episode... It appears that standardized testing is not something new nor is its mandated implementation in schools, novel. Who knew? I mean that literally. According to the timeline of History of Standardized Testing in the United States, something appears to have awakened in the 21st century as it relates to standardized tests. Between 1965 and 2000, education had settled in on assessments that served their purpose.

No matter what your choice, education is an investment that involves the entire family. Here are a few pointers that I hope will help you in your consideration of school choice.

Have we gone too far in athletics? Why are we training every kid to become a professional athlete?

Do not go into next year with the same old approach! Start your preparation now. Be deliberate and be honest.

Letting your students know that you care about them can remove many barriers. This is true in face-to-face, blended, flipped and online classrooms. Get an early start planning for next year and how you will break down those walls.
