We talk about the science and construction behind the quality of fabrics that we wear, the importance and creation of sustainable clothing, and logistics of running a side-hustle blog.

#25 | Adya and I talk about finding your path in STEM! Adya has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. She is a Quality Systems Analyst at PACCAR, which is a global technology company that focuses manufacturing processes under the Kenworth Truck Company. Outside of her analytics work, Adya speaks 6 languages, is a Career Coach, and STEM Content Creator. We talk about career and interview advice in STEM, overcoming the perception that inability is from lack of experience, how to showcase your technical strengths and turn weaknesses into assets.

Farzad has a Bachelor's of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State and is pursuing his Master’s of Engineering from Cornell University. Farzad is a Petroleum Engineer who transitioned from the oil and gas industry now as Software Engineer. He has co-founded a tech startup, Barstat, which provides a data analytics platform for entertainment services. We talk about logistics of co-founding a tech startup, development of web and mobile applications, and technical advice for transitioning careers into the software industry.

She is based in Paris and is a graduate of Parsons Paris, a school known for its art and design programs. At the start of the pandemic, Sharon had a desire to build her vision into a brand and she founded her Communication Agency, Brand's Media Group, which is a full-service content and Digital Media Agency based in Paris and Montreal. We talk about the process of starting with an idea and building it into a brand, learnings and strategies of starting a company, and growing an entrepreneurial vision to life.

Saumya has also served as the Director of Women Who Code in the Chicago area. We talk about the importance and direction of technology and the power of investing.

Natalie is a Data Scientist at BMW Group and has her PhD from Cornell University in Environmental Engineering. Outside of her career, she consults individuals with her business, For the Love of Grad, to help people get into their dream graduate schools. We talk about turning rejection into redirection, strategizing ways to improve your odds in college and your career, and career advice in STEM.

I am a full-time college student, I work part-time in IT, and I have various passions such as this podcast, so I am always finding ways to be my most productive self. This episode consists of tips and habits to follow to create successful routines for yourself and live up to your potential. After all, mindset is everything.

#18 | Jill and I dive into the various facets of electrochemistry! Jill doesn’t live by just one title but is a Physicist, Materials Scientist, Engineer, and Entrepreneur. She got her Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Irvine and her Bachelor's in Physics from California State Long Beach. Jill is a Senior Staff Scientist at Enevate Corporation where she develops lithium-ion battery technology for vehicle electrification. We talk about electrochemical technologies such as lithium-ion battery development, the advancement of energy materials, and obtaining patents on inventions.
