Duane “DaRock” Ramos was destined to be a music legend. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Duane DaRock’s grandfather, Tarnarse Ramos, was a famous upright bass player that performed along such legends as Duke Ellington. At the age of fifteen, Duane DaRock started rapping and performing up and down the east coast. While showcasing at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, he was discovered by Kevin and Amelia Moore, of the Moore foundation. His undeniable talent earned him the opportunity to work with Whitney Houston.
Duane DaRock enjoyed some moderate success in the early 90’s and eventually moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to expand his career where he unveiled a true talent as a producer.
