Episode 10: Eliot McFadden and the Southern Minnesota MaaS project
This episode is a conversation with Eliot McFadden. Elliott is a shared-use mobility industry leader with over a decade of experience bringing innovative solutions to the market in the transportation space. As the Greater Minnesota Shared Mobility Program Coordinator at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, he helps communities and transit agencies throughout Minnesota plan and pilot new services using shared used mobility options, including car share, ride share, bike share, scooters, and micro-transit.
The topic today is the Southern Minnesota Mobility-as-a-Service project, funded by a Federal Transit Administration Accelerating Innovative Mobility (AIM) Grant.

Episode 9: Interview with Jana Sochor, Part 3
This is the last of three segments where NCMM interviews Jana Sochor, about a discussion paper for the International Transport Forum entitled, “Piecing together the puzzle; mobility as a service from the user and service design perspectives.” Jana is a Senior Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and at the time of writing the discussion paper, was also a Senior Researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. In this third and final segment of the interview, we talk about the user's experience of MaaS and frameworks for understanding how users can come to embrace new approaches to mobiity.

In this part one of the series, we talked about the history of mobility as a service and the many ways the term has been used since it was first coined.

We talk about Janae's work developing a raft of new resources regarding one-call/one-click systems. We touch on key elements of successful OC/OC systems including education, ways to surmount tricky issues, and the potential for these systems to improve access for riders with barriers to their mobility.
