Episode 14, Season 3 - Faded Living & Friends chats with Tea & Brooklyn of Hae-Z Nights!
Welcome to Season 3 of Faded Living & Friends!
Each week I chat with cannabis entrepreneurs and allies to show how normal and magical we are. I recorded this episode in Vancouver, BC which I’d like to acknowledge is on the unceded, occupied, ancestral, and traditional Coast Salish territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, & Tsleil Waututh Nations. And I am forever grateful to live, work & play here.
Today, I’m pretty excited to share my chat with a couple of amazing women in the cannabis space that I met recently.
From legacy budtender to territory manager, Téa has blazed her way through the cannabis space and continues to grow alongside the developing market. With a passion for cannabis and a desire to create inclusive stigma-free spaces, Téa and her co-creator Brooklyn started Hae-Z Nights. An intersectional approach to networking and collaborating in the cannabis space for Womxn.
Brooklyn is a retail cannabis consultant and manager who started her journey from smoking to selling back in Toronto. She began as one of the first legal budtenders with one of the original 25 licensed recreational cannabis stores just after legalization. From there she’s aided in brand development and management for multiple new cannabis stores on the West Coast of Canada. Her passion lies within the de-stigmatization of cannabis use for women in everyday circumstances. She continues to fuel this passion as the co-creator of Hae-Z nights alongside Téa, a friend and fellow female Cannabis user as they plan networking events for Womxn in the cannabis industry.
