He received his Medical degree from Vanderbilt’s School of Medicine and served his 4 years of Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Together with Cynthia Tang, he is coauthor of the CDI Pocket Guide now available as an electronic, web-based version and was written the Coding Corner column of the ACP Hospitalist magazine for 13 years. He and Cynthia Tang name are “household” names in the CDI community for their expertise and contributions to the industry.

She also earned her RHIT in 2008, superseding it with the RHIA in 2010. Kengia is originally from "Da Bronx", but moved to Tampa in 2009. Over the years, she has held numerous leadership positions in Health Information Management in several hospitals throughout the Tampa Bay Area. Kengia transitioned into education as an Adjunct instructor for a Health Information Technology program in 2011 and has been teaching ever since. Kengia found her passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping HIM students and professionals alike, earn their certification and begin their journey in HIM.

The Sequelae with Danita Ruszkowski (Teach One, Show One, Do One) Part 2
Danita Ruszkowski is the owner of Integrity Coding. Danita is an experienced coder in Orthopaedics, Dermatology and is specialty certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Danita has written an article for AAPC Healthcare entitled “Do what you have to do, so you can do what you want to do”.
Integrity Coding is dedicated to teaching students the foundations of Medical Coding, which is Coding Guidelines. Coding Guidelines are the Bible of coding and is where all coding truth lies. Integrity Coding offers courses in the AAPC CPC Certification, Risk Adjustment, Medical Billing and Certified Professional Medical Auditor. Danita also teaches Exam Prep Boot Camps for the CPC and the COBGC. The motto that Danita stands by is “teach one, show one, do one”. Simply said, Integrity Coding will teach students the coding foundation, show you the coding foundation by going over examples and then we will “do one” together so students can actually see how to code various scenarios.
Integrity Coding has a free, four-week Introduction to Medical Coding Course, which begins August 31, 2021 and goes until September 21, 2021.

Charlita has worked for HCA Healthcare/Parallon since 2013 and is currently a Zone Facility Information Security Officer. Prior to her current role, Charlita was an HIM Director and Facility Privacy officer at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. She has held several other positions including, Technical Support Analyst, and HIM Coordinator, and Trauma Registrar. She is also a graduate of the Parallon Emerging Leaders Program. Charlita is a Registered Health Information Technician with a BS in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has worked with AHIMA as an Item Writer for the RHIT exam and a subject matter expert.
Charlita has called Florida home since 2006. During her father's more than 20 years of service in the Air Force she developed a love for travel and learning about other cultures. Born on Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan her family was later stationed in Georgia, England, and Oklahoma. Charlita has worked for HCA Healthcare/Parallon since 2013 and is currently a Zone Facility Information Security Officer. Prior to her current role, Charlita was an HIM Director and Facility Privacy officer at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. She has held several other positions including, Technical Support Analyst, and HIM Coordinator, and Trauma Registrar. She is also a graduate of the Parallon Emerging Leaders Program. Charlita is a Registered Health Information Technician with a BS in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has worked with AHIMA as an Item Writer for the RHIT exam and a subject matter expert.
Charlita has called Florida home since 2006. During her father's more than 20 years of service in the Air Force she developed a love for travel and learning about other cultures. Born on Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan her family was later stationed in Georgia, England, and Oklahoma. Charlita enjoys hand embroidery, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family.

Always Wanting More with Sabita Ramnarace: Part 1
Sabita Ramnarace, MS, RHIA, CCS, is the Director of Coding at Health System Solutions. She oversees the coding of Outpatient Surgeries, Ancillary, Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Radiation Oncology. In addition, she manages Inpatient and Outpatient Auditing as well as coding for Pre-Authorization.
In 1998, Sabita successfully completed her Bachelors in HIM at Florida International University and went to get her RHIA while working as a Coder at Baptist Hospital. She went to become a traveling Healthcare Consultant at Lexicode and KForce where she worked at organizations in the US such as Fairbanks Memorial in Alaska, Detroit Receiving in Michigan, and Hilton Head Hospital in South Carolina.
After her traveling days, Sabita worked as the Assistant HIM Director at Memorial Regional Hospital, HIM Director at Northwest Medical Center, HIM Director & Chief Patient Experience Officer at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Executive Revenue Cycle Director at BocaCare. Sabita also holds a master’s degree in Health Informatics from Walden University as well as the Strategic Leadership Diploma from The Pacific Institute.
