So that's it. 4 short weeks and we've exhausted all the initial combinations, if you thought we were running out of ideas already now you're definitely right. We recap over the experience over the last few weeks, what games did we like, what changes would we make, do we really hate all the names we came up with? Find out here! What has a lot of D6 and doesn't give a shit? Both of these games. In two games that rely so heavily on chance we try and bring in some semblance of a strategy. We really had to dig deep to come up with the goods for this one but it is the last two games so what did we expect?

We just can't separate these two games. They both appeared together in Season 1 to battle for our affection and now they're pushing us to our limits as we try and combine them. Matt once again has to stop Aidan from "Nope"ing the whole episode and we manage to come up with something explosive.

Fresh off the comedy of last week we are onto another interesting combo. Our goal with this one, to turn too slightly long and laborious games into an exciting race to the finish. Lets hope we get over the line this week so we can earn our place in crash test gaming paradise.

The question we've been trying to answer since the start: Can we take two games we enjoy playing and come up with something we'd enjoy playing the same or even more? This week we may have gone one better. Listen as two games we don't really enjoy playing have made arguably our best installment so far.

Finally back on the horse with a game we have no problem backing. We hope we can win back your approval to put all your money behind this one but remember, sometimes things can be too good to be true.

After a long hiatus two of your favourite nerds have returned with a new format. Without anyone to accurately explain rules they didn't have much of a choice. So get ready for two nerds to take two games, twice a week and try not to take too long to come up with a new workable game.

In a game that is all about building the most competent party it's fitting that the least knowledgeable member of the group is cruelly cast aside for this one. Join the two remaining members as they take off on their own new adventure and talk everything Dungeons and Dragons. Listen all the way to the end to get the latest of what's to come for the next season of NerdGameNight.

The simplest game we've looked at by a long way. Owen continues to broaden his resume with some great voice over work while Matt and Aidan stick to what they know best, making a joke out of every aspect of the game. Given that 4 of the 31 squares are literally marked "Lottery" get ready to turn your brain off, roll the dice and pray that it's loaded in your favour.

As we approach the final run of episodes we start to really stretch what the purpose of this podcast actually is. No clear rules, no clear strategy and really no new insight whatsoever. Take a gamble on this one if you want a laugh and to hear Owens first steps into a potentially new and lucrative career.

In the absence of our former town drunk Aidan Malone, Matt and Owen set out on a quest to find out what happened to him using One Night Werewolf. In a game this convoluted though, they really end up with more questions than answers, the main one being, "Owen why did you buy this?".

With our episodes usually being as rare as an oasis in a desert we've actually managed to stick with our weekly schedule this time round. In an episode where we talk less about the game and more about life/death situations it won't surprise you that this isn't one of our favourites. Listen out for our special A-List guest who feels the same.

After a long hiatus your three favourite nerds are back and are ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. What better endorsement can we give for this game than that it was so enjoyable that we played it instead of recording the podcast. Some sad news to end this week, and so the season 1 episode countdown begins.

From mainstream family games to 18+ drunk party games we really like to cover all the bases on this podcast. This is quite likely the least competitive game we nerds play but somehow we still find a way to feel bad when we lose. Enjoy a lighter look at gaming and endless innuendos....in your endo.

For the second episode in a row we're looking at the more mainstream family games we all must surely have played at one time or another. Get ready to Risk 1-8 hours of your life with the hope of enjoying this game. In a game with this much die rolling, you know its going to divide the opinions of your favourite nerds.

Assuming having played all the previous games you still have friends, this game is sure to weed out the rest of the stragglers. Listen as we try and make a game that's only purpose is to find out which of your friends are secret psychopaths, sound cool and fun for parties.

For our first deck building game and the newest addition to our game nights we pulled out all the stops. New interstitials, new outro, new recording location, but unfortunately, the same old hosts. We talk the disadvantages of having a big deck, how to make best use of your deck, but mostly how making dick/deck jokes never gets old.

After our disastrous attempt to break new ground in the mini games sphere its back to business as usual with one of the newer editions to our nerdgamenights. This one goes off the rails a bit (hehehe) but in the end its a "jolly good show". While the new mics have us sounding sweeter than ever the hatred for the custom outros continues to mount.

Three episodes in and these nerds are already messing with a flawless format. That's right, this week we look at two games in our first, and possibly only, mashup episode. Two different but equally bitesize games compete for our affection to be crowned best bitesize game of NGN 2017. Try and contain your excitement for the results.

In this episode we talk about the second game to whet our appetites for nerdy table top games. As usual we talk gameplay, strategy and improvements while "successfully" pulling information out of our arse about expansions that we didn't research at all. Two wins in a row for Aidan means Matthew is not a happy camper by the end #spoiler.
