Los estudiantes de Historia de EE. UU. con Honores y  el curso de Honores de Literatura Estadounidense hicieron un gran esfuerzo para crear una lección para todos los estudiantes de MHS en el Día de los Veteranos. Este año, los estudiantes eligieron la salud mental de los veteranos como tema y entrevistaron a veteranos para recopilar la investigación para su podcast.

Solicitaron la ayuda de la clase de español IV para traducir su podcast al español a fin de llegar a una mayor audiencia en su comunidad. Este podcast es el producto de su investigación en clase y el punto central de una lección de 30 minutos que la clase preparó para todos los estudiantes de la escuela.

The students in the US History Honors and American Literature Honors
course led an effort to create a lesson for all MHS students on
Veterans Day. This year the students chose veterans mental health as a
topic and interviewed veterans to collect the research for their
podcast. They solicited the help of the Spanish IV class to translate
their podcast to Spanish in order to reach a greater audience in their
community. This podcast is the product of their in-class research and
the focal point of a 30-minute lesson the class prepared for all
students in the school.
