Today is my first born son's 8th Heavenly Birthday. I realized the weight of his passing wasn't quite there. Sadness for sure. I just wasn't gripped by grief. I decided to share what this journey has been like for me.

I have been listening to a few videos talking about African Americans not being welcomed in certain traditions and not needing initiation in general. Just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings as someone in the Diaspora that did initiatie.

My First Born Son, Gabriel, would have turned 8 this week. Felt like I wanted to do a tribute to him that is also a means to inspire, encourage, and empower some.  Hi I'm Iya Daniyah. I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20s. Initially, I didn't want children so it didn't matter much. Then one day I did, and I couldn't.  Then, when I least expected it... he was in my womb. I decided to do a series of story time videos to honor his memory and talk about the healing journey I've undergone as it relates to him.

Happy New Year! Welcome back! It's that time of year again. Time for the conversation around when to set goals and intentions for the new year. What I often hear as the argument is that nothing is growing in winter. Everything is still, resting, etc. 

Well after some research, that is not necessarily 100% true. With that in mind, these are just my thoughts around setting intentions, planting seeds, and why resolutions may work for some and not others.

I was channeling and wanted to talk about God. Take what resonates, leave the rest. All is well.

As usual I'm driving in the car getting downloads. The mental talk today was spawned by the idea that successful women are operating outside of their feminine energy when Abundance & Prosperity are aspects of Feminine Energy.

I have avoided doing this honestly. However, I decided to go ahead and just say what I was thinking and feeling regarding all this relationship mess... "masculine man" "feminine woman" BLAAAAAAAAAAH

If you don't get anything else - find your match. That's it. Manifest that.

Sometimes you hit that wall and you're like, "I can't do this anymore." What does it mean? What do you do?

I was driving and the thought comes to me how the energy of these 3 Orisha are very prominent in my 3 closest friends. How does it show up and why do I need it? Just some stream of consciousness.

I know you are thinking what in the world. Trust me when it plopped in my head I was too. I laughed out loud. And as it unfolded it was pure genius. I had been binge watching Naruto so I'm sure my Favorite Self felt it an appropriate analogy.

Hopefully my spiritual Blerds will appreciate it. LOL

I heard something on social media related to our (Black and African) ancestors in America. I had been mulling it over when it dawned on me, "You're a whole medium. Why don't you simply ASK" 

After the profound Duh I had the most amazing conversation. Confirmation and education. It's not always about help me with ... Sometimes it's about the wisdom you can glean. 

This morning I was reflecting on harmony and balance. I was also considering whether or not someone could be a person of vision and still make time to be with someone they love and care for.

I was having a conversation with a gentleman and this is what he told me. My Aries moon had words but I was calm and cool headed. Instead I listened. And there was one question I never got an answer to. What is it about being a man that a woman can't teach?

See I have a strong believe that children of all genders need their mother and father (assuming their parents are healthy influences in their life). If you listened to episode 2, this one is from that same morning as well.

I was listening to a pick a card on YouTube and omg... loud. I was the "cool girlfriend". Sitting and realizing that was just a cover for people pleasing. 

I called this episode reflections because that's pretty much what I was doing at the time. Just reflecting on my journey up to that moment. The first episode of the new season will be on the first Wednesday of August. 

It is such an honor to be a medium in which these stories are shared. This is the 4th in episode in the series and I am still learning new things.  

Nikwonn is a very dear friend and I was honored when she agreed to come on my podcast and share her story. I even learned things about her that I didn't know.  

Why am I hosting these series? 

It pains me to think that my people still believe that we had no relationship with the Creator prior to colonization. This deep seeded belief has those in organized religion judging their brothers and sisters for breaking a way to experience a more traditional and authentic relationship with the Most High.   My intention is for these conversations to bring these journeys out of the shadows into the light. To illuminate the various aspects of these journeys that are common among us and unique.

I was goofing off and learned a friend doesn't observe Valentine's Day and shared a video about how it was pagan. My response was that I'm aware it has pagan roots, as do most holidays, but I have a very different relationship with The Most High. The urge to go deeper was overwhelming. I had been wondering what message I was meant to share today and he was apparently the muse I needed. 

I decided to do a special on ancestor veneration. I started with the basics on this episode to lay a foundation. Tomorrow I will do a special one around having a child as my ancestor.

So I wrote and read a poem on a previous episode called "I forgive you".  Last night during my shadow work I felt like a poem again but it was coming in a bit different so I decided to simply channel what was coming up as a freestyle.

Last night I was working on the wounds of my womb and forgiving myself. Not anyone else. Simply forgiving me. This is some of what came up during my healing work.

I'm moving into my Venus return at the end of this month. I find myself purging so I can make room for this Venutian blessings. I was driving down the road when the phrase, "I Forgive You" dropped into my head. I thought, "A new poem maybe". I look up and there's the white, not off white, but WHITE car that pulls up and has the house number of my parents house on it. "Come home" I think.

So... this is the poem that came from a quiet moment. I have a lot of new ones. Maybe I'll share more.

I hope this finds you. This stream of thought was triggered by the thought, "kids are resilient". IDK why I had to talk about this. I've been developing inspired channeling so I'm feeling like this thought was a seed and it led me to breaking ancestral patterns and healing wounds.

This is just my thoughts and opinions. At the end of the day everyone's journey is their own. Your journey is yours just like your parents theirs and so forth. I have just been reflecting on what we do out of habit and when we decide that maybe that way isn't the way.

Closed for spiritual maintenance next week until the 28th. 

I took some time away from social media (and people as much as I could) to just have some quiet time. Today I began to understand why my sons going in my room messing with things bothered me in the way that it did.

That's how shadow work is sometimes. See what triggers you and digging to the root cause.

It's another random stream of thought. This one spawned by looking for something specific on my birth chart. I can go down the worm hole when it comes to astrology.

You ever see someone's smile and wonder, "I wonder what's behind or underneath that smile." I found myself doing that regarding myself when looking at old pictures. It dawned on me that I was going from a Tower moment to the Star a year ago yesterday. This morning I decided to reflect on what that experience was and how I'm still here.

So I decided to call this Garden Chats. Sometimes one thing will spark an entire stream of thought. I just go with it.

This particular one started with me thinking about the Masks I wear.

Grand Rising and Good Morning - As my friend and mentor Kai would say, I had a "stream of thought or consciousness" this rising. I was thinking about the event today, the ancestor event in November, and shining my light in general. I thought about the idea that it would bother anyone that cared for me. I thought about you shining your own light. I thought about my resistance to charging for my services and realizing that was a lack mindset and blocking the flow of abundance that wants to come to me. I am worthy of an abundant life. It's time I show up like it. I'm so excited for what's coming. I have some challenges but ultimately every block, every hinderance, every enemy has and will be removed from my path. I hope you all have a beautiful Full Moon and shake all limiting beliefs.

This morning the thought came to me that someone didn't like me because I wasn't "good enough". I am grateful for the healing work I've been doing because my higher self stepped in as the tears began to fall and we had a chat or rather a reminding conversation about who I am. Today was the official end of my marriage on paper. Tuesday, the day that would have been our 3 yr wedding anniversary, is now the day my name is restored back to who I was born as. This morning the feelings were rising within me. This afternoon as I sat in my car the seal came undone and the grief I've been holding on to needed release.  As I move to this new life I am grateful for this book and all of the stories within it.

Tonight I just decided to chat and I freestyled a poem to convey not only the pain, but the healing. My intention is that it offers you too some light.

New Moon = New Cycle --> You may still be feeling this unfolding. Look at where you have 19 degrees in Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius and Virgo in your birth chart. Mercury will be cazimi as well. Cazimi means that the planet is so close to the sun it is in the heart of the sun. Instead of being "burned" by the rays of the sun it's being protected. Mercury will be really shining.

The 7th House For the United States is what's being triggered. Taking a look at your close personal and business relationships. 1 on 1.

Solar Eclipse, there's no light ie. there may be things hidden from you. Follow your intuition. Things may not be what they seem.

What is Mercury Retrograde?

Retrograde simply means that a planet is moving so slowly that it's like it's moving backwards. Because the pace is so slow you can feel the energy more intensely and the typical behavior of the planet may be a bit off.  It's a time to Re.. reflect, redo, restart, refocus, etc.

Mercury - the planet of communication, thoughts, ideas, what we want, creativity, technology. It's normally quick moving energy. Rules the signs of Virgo and Gemini so it fluctuates from feminine and masculine energy depending on where it's placed. With it retrograde in Gemini it's a time to do less. Think less. 

Retrograde is from May 29 - June 22, shadow period continues into July though

It is impacting the collective United States 7th house. Mercury is trine Saturn and will be squaring Neptune and sextile Chiron

What do you plan to do to make the most of this energy as opposed to feeling controlled by it?

It's a new month! Happy June! When doing my June reading I realized this month is an 11/2 month. I had to do a quick message of interpretation of this energy in my opinion and how to leverage it.

Yeah. That's right. I had a dream about Yeshua/Jesus. I'll be honest that the connection has been one I had not fully embraced previously. No I'm not about to convert. I just have a better innerstanding of the fact that you don't have to identify with a specific religion to have spiritual support. Something is shifting in the collective and this dream wasn't solely for me so I'm sharing. I'd really love to know if and how it resonates with you.

The energy is palpable with this Lunar Eclipse coming to kick out what no longer serves us. 

We have have a full moon in Sagittarius happening on May 26th at 7:13 AM EST. This is also a Super Full Blood Moon Eclipse. BIG BIG ENERGY. Sagittarius is the guru, the travel, the truth seeker. It is expansive I wonder, I wander energy. What are you have you been wondering about since our New Moon in Sagittarius on December 14, 2020. 

As a side note this is happening while Pluto is retrograde, Saturn is newly retrograde (May 23) and Mercury is getting ready to go retrograde (May 30). Jupiter will be retrograde on June 20.

It's to to reevaluate, rethink, revisit, and recharge our lives. All of this energy is here to support us coming into our purpose and for the good of all. Be gentle with yourselves and don't give up.

I was in a room listening to reclaiming the power of our Pu$$6. I ended speaking briefly on my own experience. It was really confirming for me and where I feel my path going. I don’t know who I supposed to receive this. I’m just sharing what I feel called to.
