Ep.224 Can a Narcissist Really Love Someone?
Do you still love the narcissist? There is nothing to be ashamed about if you still have feelings for the narcissist. Then this episode is for you! Love and respect in a relationship are frequently seen as obligations by narcissists. They consequently come across as entitled and forge a totally skewed relationship. Narcissists frequently believe that being in love entails receiving unceasing attention and love from a partner.

Epi 217 Is Forgiving Someone Who Has Abused You Really Necessary To Heal?
When it comes to forgiveness, it is a personal choice. I've made amends with my abusers. That was a personal choice I made for my healing. I forgiven them for the sake of moving forward and becoming the best version of myself. Yet, forgiveness is not required for healing on the filp side. Many people I know refuse to forgive their abusers, which is perfectly fine. I just can't walk about with all that hate within myself and need closure within. It all depends on the circumstances and what feels right to you. In this episode I discuss five ways to forgive and live the life you truly deserve. In fact, without my abusers, this podcast would not exist. Don't miss it!

Epi. 213 How to Overcome Betrayal Trauma and Take back Your Power
Have you ever been in a situation where someone abandoned you in the middle of the road left you for dead? Let's be honest: some people are simply evil. Those who swore us that they loved us threw us to the wolves. What they don't realize is that empaths can sometimes come back even stronger and lead the pack. That's exactly what I did when I was dumped in my last relationship with a BPD. I was able to turn my life around after months of healing. I talk about 5 things you can do right away!

Epi. 212 Why Motivation Doesn't Work For Empaths
In this episode, we'll look at why motivation doesn't work for most empaths. I'll also talk about Mel Robins' "Five Second Rule" and how we can overcome our brain's resistance to doing something we don't want to do. We constantly strive to motivate ourselves but always end up feeling like we fall short. The problem with being motivated is that it is only a temporary solution. The fact is you will never be motivated all the time even if you look at the most influential people on the planet. Avoid criticizing yourself simply because you lack motivation to do something doesn't mean you "lack' something. Even those you believe are motivated are not, I assure you. They simply know how to bypass their brain and do it anyway!

When the Mask Is Finally Removed. That's when you know the discard is around the corner. When a narcissist or someone with cluster B are master manipulators. I talk about 5 red flags in a relationship that every empath should know. You should also be wary of a partner who constantly pressures or love bombs you. An unwillingness to compromise is another major red flag — relationships should not be one-sided. If your partner abruptly ends the relationship despite wanting to work things out, you know it would have never gone the distance anyways. Be glad it ended sooner than later. That is why it's important to look at red flags early and question them. Don't miss this episode.

After spending years as a classroom teacher in both the special education and general education setting, Melissa transitioned to the role of parent advocate as she was given the opportunity to walk this path once again, this time from the lens of a mother. Melissa has her Certificate in Twice-Exceptional (2e) Education and is currently completing her MA in Cognitive Diversity in Education.
Melissa brings her personal journey and experiences as an educator, parent to a neurodivergent child, and neurodivergent individual herself to support others who are walking this same path of feeling unseen and misunderstood in the traditional classroom environment. TUNE IN~

Episode 197 Five Ways To STOP Over-Giving & Start Receiving
"Ask and you shall receive" But many Empaths continue to over-give to avoid some type of conflict or just stuck in pattern. In this episode, I discuss five ways to get what you truly desire in life. We empaths have a tendency to be givers. Sometimes we do this to gain acceptance or validation from a loved one. When we consistently give, we can end up in a very bad place. This can not only effect our mental state but also our physical health. In a relationship, a giver is someone who takes into account what the other person wants and needs. A healthy relationship should go both ways and should not feel like an obligated to receive something in return. Do you wonder how you can make a difference in the lives of others? In this episode, I'll show you five ways to start getting what you want. Tune in!
