What to do when a believer abroad acts out of character
What to do when a believer abroad acts out of character
There are instances when a believer moves abroad and does something you consider inappropriate. At that moment, you might feel disappointed, surprised or sad about the incident. Beyond how you feel, there are good ways to respond to such happenings.
In this episode, I discuss 5 things you can do when a believer who moved or lives abroad acts out of character:
1. Resist the urge to spread the shocking news.
2. Pray for the believer wholeheartedly.
3. Reach out to the believer if you have access to them or ask their friend to do so.
4. Share resources with the person to help them hold on to the faith.

A conversation on age gaps in dating relationships
A conversation on age gaps in dating relationships
I believe age is not always just a number. When it comes to a dating relationship, it's essential to choose your partner intelligently. You are likely to get married to this person. Even with the right person, the age gap between you and your partner can influence the quality of your relationship. So, you should carefully consider its implications for your relationship.
In this episode, I discuss 5 things to consider about age gaps when choosing a partner:
1. Besides the age gap, does the person meet your non-negotiable requirements in a partner? Does God approve of this person for you?
2. How is your friendship with this person?
3. Do you respect each other?
4. Do your life plans and timeline for achieving these plans align?
5. Are you okay with the social implications of choosing this person?

Online vs Physical Church: 3 Reasons why you should attend church in person
One impact of technology on us as believers is the availability of the online church. There are believers who find this convenient and struggle to see the need to attend a physical church gathering. However, what does the Bible say about our physical fellowship as believers?
In this episode, I discuss 3 reasons why you should attend church in person:
1. The Bible instructs believers not to neglect meeting together.
2. We see believers in the Bible, both existing and new believers, have regular fellowship together.
3. The Church is one of God's systems for keeping believers accountable and training us.

3 Things to know when you join a new church
3 Things to know when you join a new church
The Bible teaches that we are the church, the body of Christ. Although, in this context, a church is a gathering of believers. The Bible also teaches that it is important for us as believers to be a part of a local church.
That said, there are circumstances when you may have to join a new church. E.g. due to a relocation, a desire to grow in the faith, as a new convert or returning to the church after some time. Whatever the reason, joining a new church is a new experience.
On this episode, I shared 3 things to know when you join a new church. This is also good advice you can share with others who may need it.

Speaking up about your faith: Overcoming the fear of questions & what-ifs
Speaking up about your faith: Overcoming the fear of questions & what-ifs
In the episode "do you have to add to your voice?", we established that every believer should speak up about their faith. However, when you decide to be bold and vocal about your faith, the fear of questions and what-ifs may pop into your mind. You may be concerned about someone asking a question that you are unable to answer correctly. Or you could imagine scenarios about how things may turn out when you speak up.
So, how do you overcome this fear of questions about your faith? What do you do about the unfavourable what-ifs that you imagine?
In this episode, I shared ways to deal with it so you can boldly speak up about the faith.

Do pet names and words between lovers matter?
Do pet names and words between lovers matter?
When I see lovers use certain words like "stupid", "idiot" or "bighead" on their partner, I think to myself, 'really?'. My mind just wouldn't think it's okay to say such words, especially to someone you say you love. So, I thought it would be nice to discuss pet names and words appropriate for lovers.
In a romantic relationship, should you carefully choose your words to your partner? Does it matter what pet names you call your partner? When joking, can you say anything you feel like?
Besides, what you say does not necessarily affect how you feel about your partner. Is it a big deal?
On this episode, I shared my thoughts on this and backed them up with good reasons. Listen, learn and enjoy!

Every bit counts!
Every bit counts!
A human body grows and is healthy when every part of the body is working properly. The same applies to the body of Christ when every part of the body is working properly and supplying its bit. Ensure to do your part, it is needed and important to the body.

Not doing whatever you want
Not doing whatever you want
Being a believer means that you no longer get to always do whatever feels good to you. Your life is no longer yours.
When you accept Christ as your lord that means you seek to do what pleases Him regardless of your feelings.
The teaching referenced in this episode is "The welfare code" by Pst. Iren, available on the Celebration Church Int'l podcast.
