Today we welcome back Author/Investigator Matthew Gilman to discuss the extremely odd events surrounding Investigative Journalist James Gordon Meek. 

According to reports, heavily armed federal agents seized classified information from Meek's laptop during a raid on his Virginia home on April 27. Colleagues at ABC News told Rolling Stone that Meek "fell off the face of the Earth” following the raid.  “He resigned very abruptly and hasn’t worked for us for months," said another colleague.  

Neighbors reported that they hadn't seen Meek since the raid and that his home appears to be vacant.   The odd thing was he popped back up fairly recently alive and well. So what happened? Stop in y'all and let's try and unpack it all.

He joined MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, in 1991 and has held the following positions: Field investigator, Training Coordinator for field investigators, the Assistant State Director in Northern California, Chairman of the A.E.R.C. John was born and raised in Cache Valley.  At the age of 8, he began to realize that the home he lived in was peculiar. His parents still own the old farmhouse, built in the mid-1880s. Strange experiences such as phantom knocks, loud boots running the stairs, and missing objects became commonplace for him as he grew up.  With each run-in with what he called the “man in the hat,” John’s interest in the paranormal grew. His parents forbade him from telling anyone of his experiences for fear of what others in the small community would think.

He found solace in learning everything he could about his encounters from library books. As he reached his teen years, his friends would visit his home and have their own experiences.  This opened the door for him to tell others of his experiences. Hey everyone, thanks for stopping in and checking out our chat with the Author of the book, The Lost Mine, Paul Rimmasch. We haven't been around much lately, things have been a bit hectic. Winter storm crushed Texas and we were unfortunately in the middle of that as well. But powers back up started a new gig, plus school and life keep us busy. Paul Rimmasch graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, with a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and a minor in Photography in 1997 and with a master’s in criminal justice in 2019. He has worked as a crime scene investigator for Weber-Metro CSI for the past 23 years and is a three-time recipient of the Weber County Sheriff's Office Medal of Merit. Paul has certifications through The International Association for Investigations in latent fingerprint examination and forensic photography. He is currently serving as Utah's representative to the Western Identification Network Latent Fingerprint Committee.

Paul's first novel, The Lost Stones, was published in 2011, followed by a sequel The Lost Mine in 2015. His third book, Fingerprints, and Phantoms: True Tales of Law Enforcement Encounters with the Paranormal and the Strange, came out in 2018.  Paul has also published scientific papers in The Journal of Forensic Identification and Ancient American magazine. He is an adjunct professor at Weber State University and is active in the training of law enforcement officers and crime scene investigators.

Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode. Today's guest is Joshua Shapiro. Mr. Shapiro has been involved with the crystal skulls since 1983 when he saw one made out of amethyst in northern California (“Ami”). He felt such a strong connection with this artifact that since that time he has devoted his life and resources to sharing the best information he can about these crystalline artifacts with other people all over the world and the future role they will play to help our planet see world peace. He has had an opportunity to privately visit with a number of the well-known crystal skulls in the world including the “Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull of Love”, “ET”, the “British Museum Crystal Skull”, “Synergy” and “Ami” among others.

Since Katrina Head has entered his life in the early spring of 2009, they have been working closely together. The Explorers offer various crystal skull presentations (lectures and workshops) to the public as well as a unique type of private consultation with their personal skulls that combines their individual spiritual and creative talents. In the picture shown here, we see Joshua holding the Brazilian carved crystal skull known as “Portal de Luz” (Portuguese for “Portal of Light”), who has traveled with him all over the world.
