Good and Faithful Servant
Sunday was Christ the King Sunday. It is a day set aside to reflect upon the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In this week's sermon, Rev. Shannon Blosser examines Jesus' lordship through Matthew 25:31-46. He shares how Jesus lives out his lordship, and how we are called to live out our faith by identifying ourselves with the marginalized and forgotten.

World Communion Sunday Worship

Jesus's Vineyard

We Are Methodists: The General Rules
Today, we begin a new sermon series looking at the distinctiveness of the Methodist movement. We start by looking at what is known as the General Rules. Rev. Shannon Blosser examines the rules through the lens of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40). He says the rules of do no harm, do good, and maintain the ordinances of God enable us to love God and our neighbor.

Some Thoughts on Unity and Grace
Welcome to the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost! We continue our sermon series looking at important themes, this week. Our focus is on unity and, specifically, the type of unity Jesus' prayed for in John 17:9-26.

Christmas Eve 2022: Online Only and Unexpected Moments
There is an old quote of "as soon as you know all the answers, I change all the questions." Well, that is what defines worship for us this Christmas Eve at Pea Ridge UMC. We expected to be in person for worship, yet cold temperatures and black ice spots on the parking lot forced us to be online only.
Rev. Shannon Blosser delivered an online sermon based on the liturgical reading for Christmas Eve of Luke 2:1-20. He focuses on how nothing had been expected for Mary and Joseph, yet in the unexpected God comes in the person of the Incarnate Christ.
