Did you know that one in twenty people will live up to 100 years? If you're one of the lucky ones, that leaves you with 4,200 weeks of life when you reach 18. My question is, what are you doing with the time you have left? The Aboriginal Australian Way, With Rachel Shields

Have you ever wondered why there are so many lonely and attention-seeker humans nowadays? We are more disconnected from nature than ever, and our elderly and friendly brothers, the aboriginal Australians, have something to say about it. Have a listen, and learn to reconnect with you, and with all around you.

If you want to know more about Holographic Kinetics, or want to reach out to Rachel Shields, go to knowinginnature.com, or simply send her a message on Facebook.

Intuitive Healing With Julie

Intuitive Healing With Julie

Welcome back to another episode of Perla Meets The World. This time, I sit down whilst getting my nails done in Bali, with Julie, to talk about what intuition is, and how we can differentiate it from survival coping mechanisms, or even fears. As an intuitive healer herself, her knowledge of the topic, and her own experience will shed a light on, hopefully, all the questions you might have about all things intuition.

(Video) Science vs Astrology. A Chat With Shivananda

(Video) Science vs Astrology. A Chat With Shivananda

Is astrology even real? Why should be all believe in astrology or at least respect ir? What’s the truth behind astrology? Where does it come from and does it really work?

First uncut podcast so far, Shivananda, an eminence in Ayurvedic Astrology based in Ubud, Bali, had me for an hour to chat about all things astrology, the ancient sciences, our future as human beings, the role of religion, our views on Ayurveda, yoga, and much more. And I have to say: I have put him in the spot, constantly. So prepare to listen to uncomfortable questions and very elaborated and well-explained answers. An absolute pleasure!

(Video) Spirituality in Bali: Behind The Bullshit

(Video) Spirituality in Bali: Behind The Bullshit

I call it the Baliverse. Is Bali really a spiritual place? Yes. Is Ubud full of fake coaches and pretentious tossers? Also yes. Ubud has two polar opposites: the yogis and the digital nomads. Which one will you be if you were to go?

After spending two months in Ubud I’ve gotta say that there are more fake humans with no guts than true spiritual souls. Spirituality has become a product, and youth / sexual appropriation is sometimes the end goal when selling "freedom” in places like The Yoga Barn, Ubud.

Old men dancing with young women, people with no life experience selling life coaching packages. Are you really sure you know what to expect from Ubud?

(Video) What Is It Like To Live In Bali For A Month?

(Video) What Is It Like To Live In Bali For A Month?

When was the last time you were challenged to the point of questioning all your beliefs? I feel like Jon Snow, not knowing anything anymore. It only took one month in Ubud to come to the realisation that I am fortunate to be alive, that the Balinese culture is pure kindness, and that we should all strive for happiness and what brings us joy. Because nothing really matters.

I share my struggles, challenges, and joyful moments I experienced in Ubud and with my Balinese family. And I'd love for you to get inspired too, and go there yourself.

If you liked it, please don't forget to share it with your loved ones and friends. Subscribe, review, comment... it helps others know that I exist!

(Video) Travelling Solo Again & Shitting My Pants

(Video) Travelling Solo Again & Shitting My Pants

What a tit! Basically, I summarised my past few months in Airlie Beach, Queensland (my so-called home away from home) where a lot of things happened, if I am honest, including a police siege next to my house. Once the updates are all out there, I open up about how I feel regarding travelling, after so long staying in Australia (pandemic, comfort, call it X) And it just so happens that the nervousness and fear of travelling to a new place never leave you. It doesn't matter if you consider yourself a digital nomad (I do) or a travel lover... the unknown will always shake your confidence. You can either transform it into excitement or let it eat you alive!! (Choose excitement, please) Enjoy! And if you think someone you know is about to embark on a new adventure and could benefit from some moral support, please do share, subscribe, comment, review...whatever suits you best! It helps people know this exists!

The Dark Side Of Life, With Hope

The Dark Side Of Life, With Hope

What a rollercoaster of a life my fellow friend had. He is one of my colleagues, we work together at the same restaurant and I have never imagined what he had to go through, and how far his journey had taken him. From drug and physical abuse to mental health issues, caregiving jobs, and losing a loved one. This episode is quite raw and might trigger some people. If you’re suffering from anxiety, depression, or abuse, please do ask for help.

Thriving From Chaos & Abandonment

Thriving From Chaos & Abandonment

This wonderful human being and father of six has dealt with mental health disorders, chaos, domestic violence..you name it. Dean and I chat about it and the Vietnam war, Trump, societal inequalities, potential future wars... And the best thing? None of his life experiences have changed his attitude. He transformed his struggles and powerlessness into something beneficial: self-control and contentment. Here’s how.

What The Education System Is Hiding From Us

What The Education System Is Hiding From Us

How much power do teachers have? Are we preparing leaders or sheep? How do kids learn nowadays? Does technology limit future generations, or prepare them for the world they're going to inevitably face? How much has education changed and evolved over the last twenty years? Hazel and I started off pretty chill, and then... the whole education topic unfolded. Enjoy!
