In the conclusion of our three week sermon series, "In it to Win It," pastor Houston recaps how we qualify (the blood), the nature by which we compete (no one sets out to win second place), and takes us over to the book of ACTS to show us how to win. 

In this second part of our continuing sermon series, "In it to Win It," pastor Houston talks once again about being qualified but brings it back around to remind us what it is that qualifies us in the first place--the blood of Jesus; nothing more, nothing less. Then, he goes on to discuss how we may have been qualified in the past but fell out and how we can get right back up and run the race as Paul described. 

You have entered the race, but are you qualified? If you are qualified are you in it to just race or to win? 

Are you new and improved or still the same as always?

It is a great thing to be saved, but are you consumed? Do you have an unction in you from the Holy Spirit to reach out to the lost or are you able to sleep at night without thinking of those around you going to hell that you could've witnessed to? 

Last week, the Holy Ghost took over the service and we moved out of the way. This week, the Lord allowed pastor Houston to preach the message he had prepared at the Lord's ordained time today about our rights as children of God. 

It seems that many of us are so quick to skim past the promises of God in Scripture that we often forget the authority that was given to us by God. Through Jesus Christ, we are joint-heirs and a holy nation. It is in this word that we find our true identity. If we are going to truly be Spirit-empowered, we must realize this fact. 

Pastor Houston is back with part 3 of our sermon series on being Spirit-empowered. This week, he teaches from ACTS chapter 4. 

Our in-person service was canceled due to inclement weather, so Rob Frazier delivered a sermon today via FB Live.
