The Eagles opened their playoff run with a dominant victory over the Giants, so of course the first topic of conversation is the Flyers and Sixers! 90. 12/06/22: Trea Turner is (Going to Be) a Phillie; Jalen Hurts Should Be the NFL MVP Favorite
The Phillies agreed to a massive contract with free agent shortstop Trea Turner on Monday, which was perfect timing for the guys to discuss the deal and Turner's potential impact on the roster (5:59), what the lineup looks like in 2023 (16:58), and whether the signing closes the gap on the Braves and Mets (21:38). Then, after the Eagles topped the Titans on Sunday (31:38), Jalen Hurts gets his due – at least on this pod – as the favorite to win the NFL MVP award (38:13).

66. 03/14/22: Simmons and Wentz Are Back, and So Are The Phillies
The guys return after a week off, and they're not the only ones who are back! Ben Simmons made his return to the Wells Fargo Center as a spectator and it did not go well for the Sixers (4:43), but earlier that day, the news broke that the Colts were trading Carson Wentz back to the NFC East (14:58). Also returning: Major League Baseball, as the lockout has ended and teams are kicking off a shortened spring training. The guys discuss the changes we'll see in the coming years (25:32) before talking about the Phillies activity, and lack thereof, over the first few days of the new year (38:54); fans are already melting down, and that has Joe riled up.

No football? No problem; there's plenty of Sixers talk to be, uh, talked, and the guys talk it this week. A week after assessing his place in the franchise's history, the guys wax even more poetically about Joel Embiid putting the team on his back (4:49) before showing some appreciation for Tyrese Maxey as well. Then, the big question: will Ben Simmons get traded this week?
