My Period Chronicles; MPC Goes To The Streets
We took MPC to the streets to get a feel of what young men and women think about Menstrual health and hygiene

My Period Chronicles ; Meet The Team!!
Get behind the scenes of MPC, meet the guys that made it happen.
Get to know who they are, their reaction on set to several experiences, and what's next for them.

My Period Chronicles: Period Phobia; A man's take
A lot of guys are just thankful that they're not the ones that have to experience menstruation every month.
Although it can make them uncomfortable and they don't always know how to react to it because it’s not something they are quite used to and understand. But they're understanding that it can be a sucky thing to go through. It’s so important to open up this discussion to all genders because everyone should be educated on menstruation, not just people who experience it.
To eradicate misconceptions and help them better understand everything about it, some men have expressed that they grew up learning that women are dangerous to be around while they’re on their period because of their mood swings. So they ten to avoid them in these times.
While some are afraid to talk about it to avoid saying the wrong things, being embarrassed by a lack of knowledge, and the cultural shame surrounding periods.

My Period Chronicles: Period Care
It is a no brainer, that menstrual hygiene is not an option.
Poor menstrual hygiene can pose health risks and has been linked to reproductive and urinary tract infections
This episode addresses care, and what measures can be taken to ensure we are well cared for without breaking the bank.
What to do, what not to do. period products alternative or coping while working.
Get your period and be unbothered...
Let's discuss 'care' and everything that comes with it.

My Period Chronicles; The Evolution of Period
Over the years, women have had to experience periods differently. What were the coping mechanisms, sanitary items used and hygiene practices from the beginning of time till the 21st century?
Listen to this episode and tell us what you think.

My Period Chronicles; PMS DRAMA
PMS stands for Premenstrual Syndrome and is frequently used as an umbrella term to describe a whole range of physical and emotional symptoms that women feel just before their period start e.g cramping. Mood swings etc.

My Period Chronicles; Cost Implications
Let's be honest, proper care costs money. I literally have a budget for menstrual care. and If we are being realistic, there are many girls and women who cannot afford premium care. Can we talk about this? What can we do about this?

My Period Chronicles; The Red Day
Meet the hosts of the show as they share chronicles and personal experiences on what happens on "Day One" of a woman's period.

My Period Chronicles; Bizzare Tips and Tricks
In a bid to find the right tip or tricks to avoid period pains, women end up doing the weirdest or most bizarre things. What weird thing have you been told to do for pain or cramp relief? Did it work? Let’s discuss if these ridiculous things really work, and how ridiculous can they get. Share your thoughts with us!

My Period Chronicles; Period Names and Aliases
Why is period called period?
Period has been referred to by many, using different innuendos. We will be sharing those names, addressing their origins and relevance in pop culture.
Several menstrual names includes bleeding, discharge, menses. Monthlies, menstrual cycle, one's friend, that time, the curse, time of the month, menstrual flow, flowers, monthly, curses etc

My Period Chronicles; Period or not work begins at 8 am
Women experience periods differently, some actually require some time off to get back to themselves. Let's discuss how and why period leave should be a thing. Not something that connotes women as weak or needing preferential treatment but rather taking into account our health.
We are not talking about this enough.
But since there’s still such a stigma surrounding women’s issues — menstruation and painful periods chief among them — women feel as though they simply have to go about their day as if everything’s fine, which is just not okay.

THE SAD STORY OF CHIMA IKWUNADO
Nigeria has been tagged with so many issues over the years. These issues range from poverty to unnecessary mortality at its peak. However, as we have always said on this podcast, police brutality has been topping the list effortlessly. In this episode, I'll be giving you the story of Chima Ikwunado, who was brutally and unjustly killed by the Nigerian police force after being falsely accused by police officers.

THE OBASI BOYS
One of the most taunting events that have plagued Nigeria in the past years is the issue of police brutality.
Every day, we are faced with one case of murder or another and the government has refused to speak up on this issue nor take any meaningful step. Many of our young ones have fallen prey to the police and just a handful have lived to narrate their encounter.
In this episode, I'll be sharing the story of Mrs Ukamaka Obasi, who was unfortunate to have an indirect, yet direct encounter with the brutal police force and SARS. This is because she has felt the impact of police brutality, losing all three of her children in the process.
Mrs Obasi distraughtly and painfully recounts her experiences and the events that led to the deaths of her three children, leaving her childless and nearly husbandless.

THIS THING CALL GENDER AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE SHA
The international community has become aware of the need to achieve equality between the sexes and of the fact that an equitable society cannot be attained if the fundamental human rights of half of human society, i.e. women, continue to be denied and violated.
However, the bleak reality is that harmful traditional practices have been performed for male benefit. Female sexual control by men, and the economic and political subordination of women, perpetuate the inferior status of women and inhibit structural and attitudinal changes necessary to eliminate gender inequality.
Despite the apparent slowness of action to challenge and eliminate harmful traditional practices, the activities of human rights bodies in this field have, in recent years, resulting in noticeable progress.
Join communities all over the world and raise awareness on practices such as
FGM, Early marriage, Female infanticide, nutritional taboos, breast ironing etc.
Tell your own story,
Join global campaigns
Participate in interventions
Volunteer your skills
Do all you can to put an end to barbaric acts society has termed normal.

Police Brutality:The McClain Story
Elijah Jovan McClain was a 23year old Black American from Aurora, Colorado. He was a massage therapist who died a week after a violent encounter with the police force.
The event that led to his death began on the 24th of august, 2019 when an Aurora citizen made a call of alarm to the police department. The caller was said to have made a report about an unarmed person wearing a ski mask which they described as "sketchy". After receiving the call, three police officers, Nathan Woodyard, Jason Rosenblatt and Randy Roedema went down to the address in order to investigate the complaint.

THE STORY OF OGAR JUMBO
The deceased was conveying his two children to school in company of his wife when the policeman ordered him to stop.
Ogar was said to have made a U-turn at a wrong location to enable him get to the school on time before the police officers, who were on duty in the area, stopped him for failing to comply with traffic rules.

Communication in today's world
In our daily dealings, technological advancement has made life both easy and complicated.
As a communicator it is important you note certain conventional techniques digital innovation may not be able to influence.
We all have a tendency to speak too quickly, pitching our voices too high or low especially under pressure or undue stress.
Communication is not merely the message but also the personality of the messenger infused in the message.
It is not simply what we say but how we say it.

Prior to her death, Vincent had cut off nearly all contact with those who knew her. She resigned from her job in 2001 and moved into a shelter for victims of domestic abuse.
Her remains were discovered on 25 January 2006, with the cause of death believed to be either an asthma attack or complications from a recent peptic ulcer.
