This episode is about an enchantment tribe, known as Shrines, which was first printed in Kamigawa. A variant of enchantress, this is a 5-color tribe with some support cards. They also have special meaning to Zephram, a returning guest, as well as being the first deck Zephram played on-stream with the Skull Symbol!

Elves are a tribe that goes back to the beginnings of the game. They've been interpreted numerous times, with various color pairings, archetypes, and personalities. The archetype, known for snowballing advantage, has become known as "ElfBall". Goaliemann took that name and ran with it, capitalizing on a zombified mass of pointy-eared dead guys to make a LITERAL Elfball!

Bear with me: there are a lot of bear-related puns. Also, this was recorded a slightly different way, so the audio quality may be a bit different.

This cast is about Magic: the Gathering players' favorite creature types and the decks they have built around them.

The first episode is a solo cast, as I was testing out my organization and concept.

The Quote of Arms podcast is greenlit to start! It will focus on weird and wacky tribal Magic: the Gathering decks, what they are, what their identity is, how they do the jobs a deck needs, how they win, and what makes them interesting and worth building around!  Coat of Arms is a Magic card where creatures of the same type boost each other's power, regardless of who owns them. Quote of Arms is a similarly inclusive podcast, supporting diverse voices while strengthening the kindred aspects of our lives.  So...what's your favorite un- or under-supported tribe?
