CELEBRATE WITH US AS RICHMOND ENJOYS ITS USL REGULAR SEASON TITLE BUT STILL HAS ITS EYE ON THE MAIN GOAL

join us as we breakdown how the Kickers won the #1 seed on madison turf, why a foam roller is a cool trophy and how the final game will look for us 

1 more point till the Kickers make history! We take a moment to break down the 1-1 draw against Tormenta and will also have an outlook on the league and how things are shaping up. 

Another draw but still clear at the top. Elliot and Matt sit down to discuss Ethan Bryant's banger and how to solve the miscues on set pieces. We also look at the attendance numbers and what will it take to settle the storm! 

The Kickers are showing that they can handle a few body blows, but will 4 points from a tough road trip be enough to push to the Kickers towards the 1 seed? Matt and Yogi sit down to go through these and what is needed for the Roos to clinch that one seed! 

Another win and another Bolanos performance that Eliot is driving the "MVP BUS" for him. The 3-1 win helps Richmond gets closer to #1 seed and finishing the league in top form. 

A massive win for the Roos as they knock off the Owls, with Jonathan Bolanos showing again why he should be in the running for MVP. Emiliano Terzaghi should once he is the most dangerous man in space and why that connection is so strong. We also preview a few games for listeners to check out as the Roos will be on break. 

"The result and goal are frustrating, yes, but the play in this game was positive"- Elliot. Probably not a better way to sum up this match than with that, but we have learned to take the good with the bad. We also chat about our upcoming match-up with Fuego and how the results elsewhere went in our favor. 

What a way to cap off a return to City Stadium with a sweep of FC Tucson. A brace from the King himself and Richmond find themselves in first place in USL league 1! 

Once again, the Kickers go on the road, and once again, they dig themselves in a hole but, with a little bit of magic, were able to turn it into a win. With the road win and other results going in our favor, the Kickers were able to win a huge game and turn around a damaging run of results. With all that being said, we still have a few questions and thoughts on how the Kickers have to manage the rest of this season. 

Richmond found a way how to save once again on the road, but we still walk away with a few questions. In a game of two halves, Darren seemed to have found a spark in Bentley, so is it time to give him the keys at the RW spot? 

Welp, it's not how you start but how you finish! The crew breaks down what went wrong in the first 20 mins, and maybe everything after that might not be worth watching. It was always going to be an uphill battle with two red cards, but there were still some positive signs of taking away in this match-up. 

Since Richmond wants to be a big player in the transfer market, Yogi and Matt took some time to talk about what EVD looks like in a Kickers and how this transfer came to be. We look at what does a positive season looks like and the chance of him playing this upcoming week! 

Yogi and Matt sit down after the match to break down what went wrong during the Greenville Match up. Yogi gives insight on what Darren's mindset might have been like during those critical first ten minutes as Jonathan Bolanos went down with an injury and how that effect the game plan. Matt then breaks down the common cause in all 3 goals and why Nil might be the key to changing it. Later in the show, Yogi gives his prediction on how Darren might approach these 3 games on the road and what the line will look like. 

Yogi and Chenier are out this weeks as Matt and Gabe break down this week's 1-1 draw with Charlotte Independence. They give an awesome preview of the top-of-the-table clash with Greenville and their mid-season awards. 

What a week it has been as the Kickers have not only got one monkey off their back but two as they sit on top of the table! 

Not the way we wanted the derby to go, but we are still near the top of the table, so that has a count for something, right? The season comes to a heartbreaking end as the Kickers lose in the opening round of the 2021 USL League 1 playoffs. For this episode of Rivercity 93, we breakdown the Richmond Kickers disappointing game to the Red Wolves in which we seemed a step behind This week the crew sits down to breakdown the Richmond Kickers 2-1  lose on the road to Chattanooga Red Wolves. The way how this game going, it truly felt like we finally got burnt by the fire we have been playing with. Even with the 7th goal scored this season by Emiliano Terzaghi, The Richmond Kickers never seemed to get it going. In this week's episode of Rivercity93, we breakdown all the soccer, as we review this week's past games and the upcoming Henny Derby With a game happening mid-week, The Richmond Kickers faced tough opposition and familiar face in our game versus Tormenta FC.  After the game, we broke down what needs to be fixed in the midfield and what are the next steps in the system. Lauderdale Strikers, and New England Revolution. Mr. Ukrop also holds the Records at time of his retirement for career goals (70), career assists (30), career points (170) and matches (231)

To help you get the slow news of the off-season The Crew decided to start a Docu-podcast series that will cover the History of the Richmond Kickers with Famous Players, Coaches, and Moments of the club history. In Episode 1, we sit down with Rachel and Helen Viollet, the wife and daughter of famous Richmond Kicker Head Coach Dennis Viollet. Dennis Viollet was a member of Sir Matt Busby Babes and went on to score 179 goals for Manchester United which lands him fourth in United History for most goals all-time. Mr. Viollet spent most of his coaching career in Jacksonville, Florida as being the Head Coach of the Jacksonville Tea Men and then The University of Jacksonville. However, for two seasons in 1995, Mr. Viollet led the Richmond Kickers to the double, winning the US Open Cup trophy and The  USISL Premier League. He would return to Jacksonville to coach the Jacksonville Cyclones before his unfortunate death from cancer on March 6th, 1999. In 2010, Coach Dennis Viollet was introduced into the  Soccer Hall of Fame in Washington D.C.
