Episode 9 - English Language Learners in Thinking Classrooms /w Karen Quiroz-Norman
In this episode of RCSD Thinks, we chat with Karen Quiroz-Norman (@KQuirozNorman), Multicultural & Multilingual Consultant with RCSD. Karen shares her insights as an EAL (English as an Additional Language) expert and shares some of the wonderful learning she has seen in classrooms that have implemented #ThinkingClassrooms. Ultimately, Karen lays out why the Thinking Classroom practices are so valuable for classrooms with students who are still learning the language.

In this episode, we had the great pleasure of chatting with an amazing math counterpart from Regina Public Schools, Jeremy Sundeen (@jsundeen, email). He teaches Foundations, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus at Sheldon Williams Collegiate and works with pre-service math teachers at the University of Regina. Jeremy has always been a fan of inquiry based math lesson and using the #ThinkingClassroom in his classroom was a natural fit.
