It’s True, It’s Damn True!!! Your Olympic Hero, Kurt Angle is the guest on this weeks episode. This week we remember the life and career of a close friend to everyone that met him; we talk everything Tim White. The early days saw him being Andre The Giant’s go to guy. Later on we saw him in the ring as one of the most recognizable referees in WWE history. ODB broke barriers for women in professional wrestling and this week she talks about her introduction to wrestling when she auditioned for Tough Enough in 2000. After being eliminated from the competition she made her way to OVW and began to flourish. When ODB joined TNA the women’s division was one of the best in the business at the time, but that has never gotten enough credit. Refin It Up gets Regal this week as Brian, Jimmy, and RJ talk about the great career of William Regal. From the age of 15 Regal was fighting for his life in the streets of Blackpool, England. Come 1993 William Regal made his first big run in WCW and brought legitimacy to the TV Title from the start. Within a few years he was wrestling guys like Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson, and Larry Zbyszko. He was beginning to make a name for himself all over the world and across many promotions. Then in 1998 he made it to the big time of WWE. From then and until he left the company William Regal worked harder than anyone and gained the resect of so many then, now, and forever. We have our biggest show this week as we talk about “Big Show” Paul Wight. Throughout his career in WCW it felt like some starting and stopping until he made the jump to the WWE in 1999 at St. Valentines Day Massacre. During the event Big Show made one of the most iconic debuts in history coming up from under the ring and tossing Steve Austin through the cage during his match against Mr. McMahon. During his WWE career Big Show got some advice from some of the top people in the company; but he also received some constructive criticism that was not needed. Earl Hebner has been gracing your television screen for decades as one the most popular referees in the WWE/F, TNA, and NWA. From being the referee for the classic “I Quit” Cage match at Starrcade 1985 between Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard; to months later being part of the best storyline in wrestling history “Twin Magic;” Earl Hebner has done it all in the wrestling business. At this time in 2001 the Invasion angle between WWE and WCW/ECW was starting to run its course.  No Mercy demonstrated that to be the fact as well; many things not making sense (ie Hardys defending their WCW Tag Titles.) After a month of WCCW we are now onto WWE.  Fifthteen years ago today WWE brought you No Mercy from the Allstate Arena before 12,500 fans in Rosemont, Illinois.  AT this time in the company Triple H was in a great storyline with Mr. McMahon who forced him to wrestle three times on this card. He won the WWE title from the appointed Randy Orton (in place of a injured John Cena) in the opening match then defended against Umaga then Orton again in the main event in a Last Man Standing Match.  In addition to that the rest of the event is a surprisingly good pay per view outside some no needed in ring and backstage segments.  Find out what Dave, RJ, and Justin had to say about that and so much more!!! This week is the culmination of our month of WCCW. Samoa Joe has been the man in every promotion he has been in since he debuted in professional wrestling.  From ROH to TNA to WWE, and now in AEW Samoa Joe has done it all in the business.  As a multiple time champion Joe has taken his skills all over the country and the world.  For almost a decade Joe ran all over the TNA roster before making his move to NXT/WWE.  Brian remembers some of the good times with Joe as well as some great stories from the Samoan Submission Machine. Brock Lesnar has been creating carnage where ever he has been since 2002. The writing seems to be on the wall for WCW this week as Justin and RJ rant about Bash at the Beach 1999.  On paper the card would appear to be legitimately a good event but as someone once said "the bell had to ring." This week Brian remembers the wrestling machine Kurt Angle. As Wrestle Mania 13 is days away Justin and RJ are ranting about one of the best RAW's yet.  The main event was Sid putting his title on the line against Bret Hart inside a steel cage. RJ welcomes Steve Maclin to the show on this bonus edition of Ringside Rant.  Coming off of great matches against Jonathan Gresham and Trey Miguel, Steve is making strides to being one of the purest wrestlers in all of IMPACT wrestling.  As a USMC veteran he has the drive within him to be the absolute best in whatever he does; and it shows whenever he is inside a wresting ring. When he came back from serving the country he decided to find a wrestling school in New Jersey and found his way to the World Famous Monster Factory.
